When Jacques was old enough to be adopted out, Alma had no shortage of willing wyngrew willing to take in the young impling, the little bouncing 'gift of Antova'. Adult wyngrew of all shapes and sizes took their turns being introduced to the little impling, who seemed to just love all the attention, more than willing to drag the friendly adults into games and little 'adventures', while being supervised by Alma of course.

Slowly she narrowed down the candidates to a dozen, then a handful, then just three.

Jac took a particular shining to one though, so the choice was made.
