Quick 3am doodle of my big-cat character Kay from my comic strip Insanely Inane. Kay started out as a neopet, A spotted kougra. After leaving neo, She went under a name change and a species change. she wears three gold rings on her tail which actually had a lot to do with her Petpet, squiqqywiggychewtoy the Wadjet.made with: SAI

I've always wondered about the rings on her tail. But I like them.

lolololololol it had a lot to do with my ridiculous story-writing 14 year old mind. Back when she was still a neopet, I made up a story that she lost her tail somehow, and it greatly set her back in her career as a fighter ('cause there was this thing called the Battle Dome were there fighting tournaments for neopets and stuff) Without a tail she couldn't balance properly, (because that's how real cheetahs use their tails and what not), and thus a prosthetic, or in her case, a little animal helper, was called for. The rings added extra weight to give her more leverage.

cat faces are haaaaaarrrrddd to draw D: I had to redo hers here a few times before I got the nose, mouth and eyes to work together. I will say this though. I really love how the spots came out.
(I look at the old comic strips I made all the time and I shutter with slight disgust at how they all looked. I am so glad I improved)
