as many people asked me to- I dod a watercolour portrait tutorial.I came up with this kind of portraits not so long ago, but I use the technique, mixing watercolours, crayons and ballpen for some time now.
I used White Nights watercolours, Koch-i-Noor Mondeluz crayons, Pentel gelpen and some ordinary, cheap ballpen for black.

Great turtorial! I have one quick question - Why do you do thicker lineart and more shading after you put down your first layer of color, instead of doing all the lineart at once? Thanks!

sometimes it is just less visible under layers of paint- I use quite pigmented paints, so after two layers, some of the blacks I want to be visible are faded. Also, I prefer this kind of drawing before putting colour because I can see, with just a delicate lineart and delicate layer of paint, if everything works fine
