Wonderful work! I've seen a lot of humanized Mothras on this site, but I think this one captures her personality the best. The multicolored kimono, calm (but confident and frank) expression, and alert, yet dignified pose all showΒ who she isΒ very nicely.Β Great work!

This is simply magnificent! Mothra is one of the most awesome Kaiju ever. She's just too cool.
The only way this could be better is if it was the mothra from the "Rebirth of Mothra" movies.

Thanks, glad you like it. Mothra's one of my favorites also, never got into the re-birth series, but she's really the only Kaiju who's a protector...unless you count Gamera.

She is most excellent. ^^ I enjoy the rebirth series, more-so the third film than the first two, but my favorite thing about that series is the redesign of Mothra. It keeps the cuteness, while adding a layer of "Imma fuck you up" to her. Not only that, but she can now fully back that up with her imense power increase. She get's strong enough that by the third film she takes out a fully powered King Gidorah by herself without any effort. As for her status as protector, all of the monsters on Monster Island can really be considered protectors, but she definitely is the most consistent, as she has never been hostile of her own accord. She's totally awesomesauce. Plus she's cute as hell which never hurts.

Ya know I always thought so but I keep hearing it called different genders so I just figured since the OG Mothra was a lady it would only be save to assume the later versions were as well. Regardless, love the rebirth version of mothra ^^

Oh yeah, the original Mothra is most definitely a female, it's only her son, Leo, who is a male.Β But last I checked, the Dubbed versions of the Rebirth of Mothra movies kept messing up his gender (Such as not only calling him a She, but also "it"), leading to confusion. XD But sure enough, in the Japanese version, he's referred to as Male. :3

It's said she has a sort of Pheonix power, so, essentially she's recreating herself. I like how she's the only kaiju to consecutively take down Godzilla.

I've got all but 2 of the Godzilla movies, and she's only in about five of them, and even in the one where she does fight hind single handedly, it takes both offspring to double team him. Again, I love her too, but there's a reason I love Mechagodzilla and King Ghidorha more.
