Here's an attempt at creating a Metropolis style robot; something futuristic yet old-fashioned. The result is Ultra-1. I like the plug on her hip.

I dig this pic a lot. The shading is sick, the subject matter rocks, and I love the efffect of the 3d squares, looks like the 50's vision of "futuristic" design. She looks like she is about to step out of the page.
