Beautiful work! For some reason it reminded me of the gospel story of maidens keeping their lanterns lit for the surprise arrival of the bridegroom.

I found the entire Mr. Bean series on DVD for half price at Barnes & Noble-- I haven't laughed this hard in months...

I honestly don't want to know if King was involved with that script. If he was, it may be time to substitute Velcro for shoestrings.
I've not seen The French Connection in ages...

King had full reign over the made for tv version of The Shining, which sucked quite a bit more than Kubrick's version-- might be the best book he'll ever write, but it's just never going to be properly transmitted to screen...
I'm reading an excellent police memoir called Blue Blood, and its author, Edward Conlon, mentioned that the French Connection is the one movie that gets the most details right about what the job is really like-- again, Barnes & Noble with the half price-- I couldn't resist, and I'm so glad that I didn't...

I only got to see a couple of those-- I remember Blake on Johnny Carson, promoting the show, which came on after Michael Landon's new series-- "Take the Highway To Heaven straight to Hell Town," Blake said in closing; Carson laughed his ass off...
Have you read any Peter Straub? Straub's If You Could See Me Now singlehandedly pitched me into bibliomania-- "Stephen King, author of The Shining" had a blurb on the back of the book, and that's how I discovered King-- I just got the latest Straub yesterday in the mail from Amazon...
The new R.E.M.'s as good as its hype, Danny-- you wanna hear?

No problem; i don't know french either but that's just the original name and i have no clue how they named it in english (i read it in spanish); anyway, there's a chapter where the symbolism of rocks and mountains with human features is analyzed both in far eastern painting and the work of flemish artists, like Dieric Bouts and Hyeronimus Bosch, there's a particular detail in Bout's Hell where a man falls into some kind of rocky abyss; i think there might be some similarity (because of the subject and mysterious meaning) between that image -along with other included in that book- and these beautiful painting of yours.
Maybe you're unconsciously perpetuating an ancient tradition.

Interesting indeed, unfortunately it's the second part of another book which was actually published later with less success and that i havenΒ΄t found translated(Reveils et Prodiges Le Gothique Fantastique).
