The truth, however, is far more intriguing in my eyes.
To save his disciples from the wrath of the Dahadorians, the grand master of Zadruha made a pact.
In exchange for their freedom from being hunted to extinction, the Zadruha were to be the pioneers of sorcery for The Dahadorians, taking on the risks while the Dahadorians kept their hands clean and faithful to the pillars.
The sorcerers were spared, and while being shown to the citizenry as the bogeyman that was warned against, in truth, were the empire’s greatest source of arcane knowledge.
