Painted a month ago: 2006-06-10Acrylic on paper, please fullview for texture.
Haven't had time to draw/paint nor get online ever since I changed job,

Great colours, I can practically hear what he's playing. (You get that going a lot, some sense other than visionary in your paintings.) Feels like he's just gotten to a calmer section/interlude of an active song. XD
I like the thickness of your paint too, :3 gives it nice texture.

This painting makes such a wonderful pair with the Greenapple one! They are both so similar in subject (person looking down and playing a stringed instrument) yet they are contrasting in color and feel. I'd love to have both of them as prints and hanging next to each other!

all yur work is amazing in an expression. i started with painter and it was amazing that u can get same affect u get here on painter..and it saves canvas....computer graphic is taking over...but u kno, still glad to see tradtional work around

Thank you! Yes, I agreed that nowadays the "traditional" effect can be done using digital tools, but personally I still prefer traditional media with paper/canvas, paint, pen, getting my hands dirty with no "undo" buttons, it's very raw, real and have more soul and spirit than digital media.

(re advice.. don't know if I could provide good advice.. but if you really really want to pursue that, you can start saving money, and/or engage in an English teaching program, at the same time learning the language while you're there.
