Active Magic
Oracle [ TYPE: ARCANE | SUPPORT ] [ 4 TURN COOLDOWN ] [ 2 TURN DURATION ] (duration and CD decrease/ increase with INT )Randomly drawing from a set of special ‘tarot’ cards, she is able to buff her allies in battle for a certain amount of time.
Chalice, provides mental relief, increasing magic resistance, heals target for 15% / 20% of HP | +1 / +2 LCK
Shield, bolsters sturdiness and defenses. Increases stamina. | +1 / +2 DEF
Sword, increases offensive abilities. | +1 / +2 STR/INT
Wings, Increases agility for a short amount of time, also lessens gravity’s pull on them, allowing more acrobatic and leaping capabilities. | +2 / +3 SPD
Conditions: Must have visibility on her allies and be within a 50m radius of her to achieve the effect. If not, those out of range but still in sight will receive no additional buff.
+Pros: Allows her to aid her companions or escape at a distance.
-Cons: Even if she attempts to cast the ability and her allies are out of range, no bonus will be applied to them, and the only one that gets buffed is her. If her allies move out of the radius of her ability, the effect is lost.
Shuffle or Burn [ TYPE: ARCANE | SUPPORT ] [2 TURN COOLDOWN]Clair and choose either to Shuffle the card or Burn it.
IF SHUFFLE
Shuffles in the card she drew from ORACLE and redraws another card.
IF BURN
Card is sacrificed and burned, enhancing the effect of the next card drawn. ORACLE’s cool down is decreased by 2.
Conditions: Must have casted ORACLE. BURN’s enhancement is only applied to the next card drawn, regardless of what it is. If Claire decides to SHUFFLE again, the BURN enhancement is loss as well.
+Pros: Allows her to provide greater aid her companions or escape at a greater distance.
-Cons: Can only reshuffle once per cast. Cannot retrieve a card that has been ‘burned’ for enhancement. Cannot recall a card that has been reshuffled using SHUFFLE. Will not receive any of the effects of the card that was loss during usage of BURN. The only effect gained is the enhancement of the next card drawn.
Knights of the Round [ TYPE: ARCANE | OFFENSIVE ] [5 TURN DURATION. COOLDOWN: ONCE PER DAY ] Summons from 13 Enchanted swords that have different elemental alignments. This ability does not scale off of any of her stats. As of current, she can only summon the bolded.
[Merlin-tier: Locked til Platinum] [ 3% chance] +3 STR/INT
Arthur- The ‘ultimate’ weapon. Merlin’s sword [excalibur], bolsters up her Magic ability.
[Lancelot-tier: locked til Gold] [ 12% chance] +2 STR/INT
Lancelot - Dark magic aligned [Javelin] +1 STR Lethargy effect is applied to the user after the blade has been recalled.
Gawain- Wind enchanted [ blade] +2 SPD
Geraint - Lethargy [spell]: 25% chance of triggering sleep, 75% chance of triggering paralysis/slow]
Percival - 5% life steal [vampiric sword]
[Gareth-tier: locked til silver] [ 85% chance] +1 STR/INT
Kay - Poisoned dagger [dagger] +1 STR
Gareth - Water and Increase to dexterity [Blade of Lucidity] +1 SPD
Bedivere - Fire Mace [Mace] +1 STR
Gaheris - Whistle/taunt [Whistle] Whistle halts the movement within earshot. Allies and Enemies both affected. Effect can be lessened and even nullified if sound becomes muffled. IE-covering your ears.
---
[current Galahad-Tier, 50%, Bronze]
Bors the Younger- Increase to speed [Rapier] +1 SPD
Lamorak - Earth Increased defense[Shield] +1 DEF
Galahad - Light Healing Staff [Staff] +1 INT
Tristan - Bow
Usage: weapon is a self-buff unless otherwise stated. Think of it like Kite from HxH if you've ever watched it.
The ability is like equiping a random weapon, that has a specific stat and Element.
For example: If she summoned Gareth's Blade of Lucidity. She receives the +3 STR/INT buff from the Galahad-tier weapon as well as Gareth's additional effect of +1 SPD and the Water Element.
She will not receive any other effect and cannot use her ability ORACLE while the Knights of the Round ability is still in use. (as long as the weapon is out for the 5 turn duration, she cannot use oracle)
Percentage Table:
If we speak in probability. The probability to summon a Merlin-tier sword is: >~1%
(3%) x (1/13)= 231/100000
or
0.03 x 0.077= 0.0023
The probability for the Lancelot-tier is: 3%
(12%) x (4/13) = 12/325
or
0.12 x 0.308 = 0.0369
The probability for the Galahad-tier is: 52%
(85%) x (8/13)= 34/65
or
.85 x 0.6154= 0.5231
Conditions: Must not have used the ability within 24 hours.
+Pros: Provides her with utility and means of damage/attack.
-Cons: Cannot reroll for another weapon. Requires mental concentration. Cannot be interrupted while incantation is in process. If interrupted, must wait another 2 turns before attempting again. Cannot cast oracle while the enchanted weapon is still out. Suffers large amount of fatigue after the weapon is released.
Passive Magic
Gift of the Avalon Honed by her family and tradition, Claire has inherited the ability to conjure objects from drawings like her ancestors. However, since she has limited drawing capabilities in terms of solid and architectural objects, she is limited to summoning the 13 weapons from the round table, clothing, and other general objects that do not need too much technical skill to draw. Typically she uses the ability to entertain herself.
Things she probably does with her abilities [Passive]
- bringing her graphite stick drawings to life and moving them around. Can’t really do much harm, basically made of graphite dust. Can be easily swatted or blown away. She literally conjures them up when bored in class and reenacts war with them. (Think of them like those green army men soldier toys)
- The only things she’s really good at drawing is clothes, wanted to go into fashion instead of pursuing blacksmithing, makes her own clothes.

Claire is a quirky girl who goes through her day at her own pace. She has her own schedule for things and likes to keep to it, not hesitating to drop whatever it was she was doing prior at the moment to pursue her ‘schedule’. She’s quite knowledgeable and because of that, is confident in the way she carries herself. She’s quite nosy and pushy when it comes to acquiring her information, she’d pester the scariest looking individuals. Ever careful with her information, she’s avoidant when the role of interrogator is flipped and she becomes the one being interrogated. She dodges questions and makes sure to keep her ‘informants’ at a nice acquainted distance.
Despite her aggressive demeanor, she’s actually quite friendly and tries not to pick fights with people. In fact, she prefers to stay as far away from fighting as possible. She isn’t against making acquaintances, especially if they are willing to give her a friendship that requires nothing in return from her.

The Avalon
The Avalon Family is a well known craftsman family from Stonehaven. Ultimately blacksmiths, their craft boasts the ability to make a sword to the customer’s personal preferences and ideals. The true craftsman’s weapon- they offer perfect customization of your weapon, however, at a cost; information.
In order to conjure up these creations, presumably out of ‘thin air’, the Avalonian Arcanists require their customer give them an entire breakdown of their desired item’s mechanisms and devices, as well as the minerals/ materials required to synth the desired item. Because of this, the Avalon family is also known as an important one in terms of information gathering and architectural standards. The Avalon Family’s library is filled with the notebooks of previous Avalonian Arcanists, each book, crammed with each Arcanists’ customers’ speculations and information. Due to the nature of their magic, their library has been compared to a ‘Craftsman’s Encyclopedia’.
Naturally, The Avalon enroll their children into art academies if not, home tutor them in the ability of art in order for them to hone their unique abilities. They are studied in the swords of the round and several other essentials.
Claire’s magic centers around her ability to draw; which is very limited unfortunately. Although the teen is an expert in information gathering, she is limited to flimsy looking weapons and cannot conjure up overly embellished or detailed ‘desired items’.
Instead of being an expert of alchemy, her abilities excel elsewhere. Blessed with minor psychic abilities, Claire utilizes a customized tarot deck fashioned by her father to aid her in battle. Or rather, escape from battle.
A Place Full of Books
Having been born to the Avalon family, Claire ‘inherited’ their legacy: gifted with the ability to also conjure up objects from drawings. Her father, Laurent Avalon, an overly ambitious man, was the head of the House. Laurent was passionate about his occupation as a blacksmith, and his position in his family. Often times he became so consumed with it that he locked himself up in his work study. Only emerging for appointments with his clients and bringing them to his work study for an extended period of time. Emerging again, only to see them off.
Despite his apparent aloofness, Laurent was a devoted father, though he could never quite connect with his daughter completely. He allowed Claire to enter his office to observe him while he worked. When it was time for his daughter to enter tutelage however, the awkward father became unable to balance discipline and love. His hand became stern.
Claire was home tutored by their family’s Library. She spent her days in the study reading the notebooks of her predecessors and much more. It didn’t bother her too much though, she didn’t really have anything else to do, nor something she wanted to be. Since she was so sheltered, she simply figured, ‘this is the way things are’. In her free time, her father forced her to stay with him at all times, told her to observe him, and learn from him. However, not being much of a teacher, he simply showed her without explanations. Unable to understand much under her father’s demonstrations, Laurent became frustrated. “Why aren’t you getting this? It’s so simple.”
He became obsessive about his daughter’s inability. After her lessons, she would be brought to his study and be drilled to draw the swords from the Knights of Round. He chastised her each time she deterred off from her practice, if she had other doodles on the side of her sketchbook that didn’t matter, he’d discipline her as well. Drawing became a tedious hassle of a hobby for her. And although she loved her father, she grew to dislike the passion she used to admire.
A Young Girl’s Dream
When Claire’s father needed to make business trips, her Aunt Gloria would care for her. Gloria was the stark opposite from her aloof brother. She was attentive and caring, traits that used to be present in the now distant Laurent. Gloria owned a small dress shop in Stonehaven, and lived a humble life in contrast of Laurent who lived in the victorian style estate their family had passed down through generations. She was single, but happy.
Gloria disagreed with her brother’s method of tutelage and discipline of his daughter. “It’s like he forgot what it was like for us when we were first learning.” she’d always sigh. Still, she was not able to deter her brother from forcing his ambitions onto his daughter, seeing as she didn’t have an offspring to offer as a potential newer head.
Claire loved staying with her aunt, she was all of the fun her father never had for her. She loved playing with the patterns her aunt laid out for her, the fabrics were so pretty and elegant. Best of all was that her aunt told her many stories as they slept together, stories of womanhood, stories of her childhood, stories in general. The bond she had with her Aunt was closer than that of her and Laurent.
While her father was away during one of their busiest months, Claire was elated to stay with her aunt. During this time, Gloria was also busy, many of the women in town wanted the ‘perfect spring dress’ for the festival that was approaching. Claire was eager to help her aunt, and once Gloria deemed Claire old enough, she taught her how to sew.
One of the best memories Claire had with her aunt was when she received a request from a client for a wedding dress. Tasked with such an important duty, Gloria was happy to oblige. Gloria and the client allowed Claire to observe her during the entire process of designing her wedding dress. It was a beautiful process for the young girl. The dress took quite a while to design, in fact, Claire thought it was the longest her aunt ever spent on an order. Gloria had invited the client over many times, even just for a simple question. The process was long and arduous for her aunt, who spent the week working and tweaking the dress long and into the night with Claire to keep her company. When the dress was finished, and the bride was fitted, Claire couldn’t help but feel the same amount of excitement as both her aunt and the client. She was even more surprised when her aunt simply gave the dress to the client without payment.
When Claire pressed her aunt on the reasoning behind it, her aunt simply smiled at her.
“Don’t you know Claire? A wedding is every girl’s dream. It shouldn’t have something as silly as a price tag to hinder it.”
It was after this day that Claire knew she wanted to open a dress shop like her aunt.
Goodbye Good friend
As Claire grew older, she began to avoid her father’s lessons and the blacksmithy. Instead, she snuck out and to her Aunt’s house in town. There, her aunt taught her more about sewing and drawing, and clothing.
Claire was content with everything, she didn’t mind her father’s overbearing ambition, scoffing it off as him getting old and worried. She found joys elsewhere, such as with her Aunt. It wasn’t like she didn’t like learning about weapons and history either, she just… prefered her Aunt’s world.
As time continued to pass, Gloria eventually began seeing someone. And as more time passed, she eventually married him. Using what she learned from her dearest aunt, Claire made her Aunt’s wedding dress, one of her most proudest creations.
Parting with her aunt was one of the most distressful experience for her. She lost her best friend. When Gloria broke it to her that she was to move away and close her dress shop, she and Claire fought for the first time. Eventually, the two reconciled, agreeing to send letters to one another.
Ultimately distraught, the teen rebelled against her father frequently. Skipping their practices and lessons together completely and instead going off into town to experience the world outside the Avalons. Eventually she came across a flyer.
“Palageius Express huh?”

●Requirements for the conjuring to take place:
The ability to fully dimensionalize the item. (basically be able to draw the thing from different angles, the width, size, know basic proportions….. Think 3d models)
Know the entire material breakdown. (eg. a sword needs Iron, wood, brass ect..)
Have the materials in order to make them.
If working. Establish a written contract between clientele and arcanist.
●She exchanges letters with her Aunt, Every stop on the Palageius Express she makes a sure-and-swift route towards the post office to deliver her letters and packages from all the places she’s been.
●She does not prefer to fight.
●Despite her father’s actions, she’s ultimately a daddy’s girl. Though right now that relationship is rocky.
●Cannot draw things other than clothes well.
●Althought she can simply conjure up her designs^ She'd rather pay people for the clothes they worked hard to make. She would also rather hand-making the outfits themselves instead of conjuring.
●Owns a large collection of notebooks.
●She has skipped out on a LOT of lessons required for her family. As result, the only instrument she can play is a kazoo, if that even counts as one.
