Description
This is me and one of my senseis at forest falls southern California, we hiked up to the falls with several others from my karate class. I was a brown belt then but now have been promoted to frist dan black belt.Have a wonderful day, God bless, Christos Korios which is Greek for Christ is Lord.

theres only one kata involving sword is that right? its derivation is Tankon kata. but i thought it was only limited to the bugeikan school. what do you do with nihondachi in kyukushinkai?

Hmm Well I really don't know, I have only learned sword basics no one at my school knows any katas.
Our weapons are Bo, Escrima Sticks, knife and few other weapons witch we only teach basics, sword being one of them.

okinawan kobujutsu has only a handfull surviving sword kata, and it was formed before okinawa's exposition to satsuma's jigen ryu. but none of them are actually done with nihongatana. I am mentioning this since the title of your illustration says karate, and the only sword katas that are related to karate through okinawan kobujutsu is from bugeikan or motobu ryu and none of them involves katana.

lol well my be you will get one, I went to your page and say that you have an interest in Kyokushin, I also practice Kyokushin karate if you don't mind me asking where is it that you study Kyokushin.

As for Kyokushin, the little ghetto-rigged operation I attended was Greeley Kyokushin (now Seiken Kyokushin.) I don't go there anymore, since they moved their classes from the place where I am to a place where I'm not (given that I don't have a car getting there was never particularly easy, but now its nearly impossible.) It's kindof sad since now they actually have proper facilities with real equipment. Ah well, I do what I can by myself...

That sucks that they moved to a place where you can't relly get to, as for me I was all ways luky enough to live right around the conner form the place I go, so I was all ways abile to walk there in about 5 mins lol.
Its relly cool I have all ways been told that Kyokushin was well spred around the world but I did not relly realizes how true that was untell I started talking to people who are in Kyokushin from all parts of the word.
