I swear there is a strong Contra influence in this game. Where you have engineers that are looking like the Probotectors; a game that preceded Contra in the U.S.

I just got into this game since it went FTP. I'm loving it and can't wait to acquire this kind of armor with my own stat boosts. x3
I even made a character named Bill Rizer, like the classic "Contra" hero. When I get an armor, and I get to name it, I will name it "Probotector."
