Kosmonauttihai is a fangirl.Stuff used:
DAmuro for the first picture, lots of watercolour, 0.1 and 0.8 black pens (and a bit of red, too), brushpen (black and coloured), some watercolour pencils and white gel pen in the second picture plus my trusty tabletop game figure paint for the spiral on Gaara's borrowed T-shirt (special bonus points to you if you recognize where you've seen it before), a bit of water-soluble marker in the fourth picture, which I painted on one of those yellow cardbases I love when Katja wasn't looking, lead pencil, ink+brush (the last two pictures) and also PaintShopPro editing and correction fluid because I fuck up a lot.

Tämä jotenkin pisti ajattelemaan, varsinkin kohta jossa Gaara nostaa kädet luovuttaneena ylös (itse ainakin käsitin kuvan niin), kun eihän Gaara ikinä masennu ja luovuta. Silti kun ajattelee mitä kummallekin on tapahtunut, ja nyt sä toit sen surun esille kuvaan, se vaan on niin... Ah, sanat ei riitä. :'D Surullista mutta kaunista.
Ja kuitenkin heillä on toisensa. Mielestäni Naruton ja Gaaran suhdetta kuvataan ihan liian vähän itse tarinassa, sillä itse ainakin näen sen niin että he ymmärtävät paremmin toisiaan kuin kukaan muu. Siksi juuri on ihanaa miten toit vaihtoehtoisen lopun siitä, miten Gaara ja Naruto taisteli yhdessä. :>
[SPOILER WARNING!!!]Luultavasti tullaan sarjan lopussa näkemään paljon Narutoa ja Sasukea ja näiden viimeistä taistelua tai jotain eikä Gaaralle ja Narutolle anneta paljoa tilaa. Siksi tätä oli ihanaa katsella, sillä jos hahmot olis oikeita ihmisiä se vois hyvin mennä näin, kun Kishimoto ei olis päättämässä heidän kohtaloistaan. 
Sitten kuvista. Mitään suuria typoja en huomaa (paitsi Naruton korva neljännessä kuvassa x) enkä mitään valitettavaa näin keksi. Ihana kuva kaiken kaikkiaan, värien käyttö varsinkin viimeisessä ruudussa on loistavaa<3 Mie tykkään todella paljon.

No, Gaara ei nosta käsiään ihan siksi , että olisi luovuttanut, mutta näytti toki minusta siltä, että tunsi parka feilanneensa Sasuken talk-no-jutsuttamisen, vaikkei sitä paljon aikaa ollutkaan jäädä mureksimaan. Ei ole helppoa heillä.
Minuakaan ei haittaisi jos sarjan tapahtumat pyörisivät enemmän Naruton ja Gaaran ympärillä kuin Naruton ja Sasukkeen, mutta toisaalta näinkin pienellä screentimella käy enemmän kuin selväksi, että ovat läheisiä ja toisilleen vain hyväksi. Sinä aikana kun ovat olleet ystäviä, ovat mokomat ymmärtäneet ja kunnioittaneet toisiaan siinä määrin, ettei mitään tarinaan draamaa tuovia ylisuuria konflikteja ole juuri syntynyt, joten ehkä Naruton ja Gaaran suhde toimiikin paremmin taustalla, molempia rauhoittavana ja rohkaisevana turvapaikkana, kun pääosan saavat saippuaoopperakelpoisemmat. Miten se tarina nyt sitten päättyykin, minusta ovat luodut toisilleen niinkun sanotaan.

My god the last two pics are superb. I love the way you've simplified making love (correct me if I'm wrong), giving it an abstract and beautiful twist that's clear but not too obvious. And thank goodness not that seme/uke-crap, which is a tiring scene when it comes to gay fanart. There's no love if there's no equality?
My second favorite thing is that pink heart you drew instead of tongues. Again a beautiful idea, which I haven't seen before!
Of course the other pics are lovely too, but nothing beats these two in my opinion. Thanks for inspiring me for today and making my morning a very happy one.

You're not wrong. That's one of the possible interpretations of that picture that I had in mind.
(And yes, don't you just hatehatehate seme/uke! There is so much wrong with that trope... Not to mention how incompatible it is with a pairing one of the defining qualities of which is equality.)

I’m sad I don’t understand the one in B/W with the hands… but maybe that’s because I haven’t followed the manga closely since Gaara was revived…
Love the one where they are kissing after the handshake, apparently the Konohanin decided it was a waste of time and Naruto could always catch up with them later. And in a much better mood, for sure XD
Goddamnit Naruto, stop being so cute standing in the snow with your puppy dog eyes and cute reddy nose of cuteness… Makes you wonder how well those work on Gaara XD.

The one where they are Kages standing on windy balcony is just pure luffy luff. Naru looks so happy and Gaara’s all “…~<3”
Tonguey one manages to be both utterly sweet and rather sexyfine~ Would you believe me I didn’t get the heart thing until my friend pointed it out at me. Guess I’m just bad at picking the glaring obvious XD
And last one… I always love when you do such style… I don’t know, the colors are just lovely and I love the palette against the black background, thw diffuminating effect…
Fun story, you managed to convince my fellow naruto fan that Gaanaru not only is an acceptable ship, but a truly awesome one XD She loves fluff even more tan I do, and you certainly deliver. And apparently, Naruto and garaa all wrapped around each other makes perfect sense and is rather believable from her canon’s point of view XD

The sketch where they're staring at their hands is from the Kazekage Rescue arc. Check again chapters 259 and 261.

Gaara finds Naruto adorable even without puppy dog eyes and cute reddy nose of cuteness, and would love to spend every moment they are together giving him hugs and kisses, I'm... fairly certain. But he is also Gaara, so impulse control is one of his strong points.
Perhaps we can conclude that puppy dog eyes and cute reddy nose of cuteness works on him well enough that he had to run away without letting Naruto give an answer to his friend-monologue confession, lest he make a fool of himself in front of his now-fellow-kage by having to be dragged away by his siblings who still remember he has kage duties of his own to see to and can't spend the rest of the day indulging in the hugs and kisses that would follow.
Poor Naruto. But there'll hopefully be time later.
