Description I'm not awake enough to get creative with titles. ^^

Just to let you know I'm not dead; I've just been concentrating on school stuff. Year 13 IB Art rules your life, I swear. Not to mention school in general.

The picture's small because it's a "preview". I'll post everything up proper once assessment's over at the end of the year. ;D

Anyway, this painting I started early this year (still haven't really finished it, urgh) using 's Horse Stock 2 as a reference.

There's a side part on the left that I've cropped out, since I'm going to paint over it anyway. I hates it.

Don't steal, you know that. I'm getting assessed on it, it's mine.

I like how you did the background, it's so soft. I assume this was watersoluble oils as well, how did you achieve the background effect? I'm using them at the moment, I'm trying to pick up some tips

Yes it's also water-soluble oils (they're wonderful aren't they? ) Thank you, I'm glad you like it; there wasn't much to it, I just used very little paint and a lot of water, and a big soft brush.

I've been leaning more towards using watersoluble mediums, instead of actual water... maybe should try that though.
