Look, it's Vaal! As a horse.
Sooo. My first animation of anything actually moving, so I really consider this skill base building rather than an actual work.
Also, I've been reminded why OCD people should never do animations.
I forced myself to give up on keeping the colouring consistent, but only after I'd worked for three days on getting the movement as close to real as I could. Thank goodness for Eadweard Muybridge 's film sequence of The Trot, which was my much-needed ref !EDIT: The speed varies depending on what browser you're using; I think Google Chrome makes it go insanely fast, I apologize, I have no idea what to do about it!

... Wow! Yeah, google chrome makes it move crazily quick, but it still looks amazing. The movement's so smooth and the colouring's so nice. It's amazing!

It's true, chrome does make it ugly. (no offence.)
Opened up explorer - for the first time since I used it to download chrome when I first got the computer, just for you - and it looks dashingly.

Heh yeah, this was also my first serious attempt at animating something, so I'm hoping I'll be able to improve that for next time.

(Going by other comments and your responses to them) I've done animation in both Photoshop (plus Imageready when it still existed) and flash (the newer ones and before Adobe bought it) and I still prefer photoshop far more than flash any day for making this type of animation. That and you wouldn't have been able to do that kind of shading on it solely in Flash.
Either way though, it's very pretty I love the smoothness of the actual movement! I just ended up being one of the ones that got it moving too fast x.x

Sorry for the late reply; thank you! I get the impression that flash isn't really that good for detail, so I suppose I'll stick it out with PS. ^^: And I think it's moving super quick for those people using Google Chrome?

I'm not using it, but it's quite possible that it does since Chrome processes each page separately.

Firefox, but speed of the computer and how things are set can alter how fast animations are viewed. So many different elements!

The coloring is great, and the movement too, but the shiny makes it look like it is flubbering and bouncing in the wind.
Is flubbering even a word...I doubt it...
Just saying the gleam of the coat and the movement makes it look fat and blubbery. Other than that I'm faving it.
