Description
The Original Ryo Sakazaki was my task today---with mullet and ankle braces =3a pity no one's done this yet; The new version looks too much like Ken, [which is what Capcom made fun of initially...imagine what they'd come up with now] guess they have a problem with mullets eh? ;3

I think the old Ryo with the mullet looked more like Ken, hence the reason they gave him shorter hair. Although his color palette in KOFXII/XIII with the orangeish hair was supposed to be a throwback to AOF1.

I guess it's a matter of perception; to me the original Ryo looks less like Ken [I'm looking at facial structure not the hair;Ryo doesn't have a sloped forehead]
I suppose this issue pops up in the first place because fighting game characters generally look similar unless they're evil

At least in some games like NGBC Ryo had a beard goin' on, he looks hella boss with that. In my book though, Ryo tops those SF Shoto's. I mean the guy rides a motorcycle in his karate gi.
