Description A long time waiting!

I've been working on this since a little bit after new year's, and I'm sure it'll please some of my classic audience. This massive collection was done for - please check us out!. What follows is something special from me - an actual effortpost description, courtesy of everyone involved!

-----//\\-----

Eos - Recompense-88

One of the main Eosian sidearms for Exemplars, the relatively compact and diminutive pistols are all hand crafted by the Covenant of Artifice to the wielders exact specifications and are often addorned with scripture and flare. Despite the size these pistols are monstrously powerful, and while only getting a maximum of 4 shots in a single power clip each shot from the Recompense can entirely pulp a power armoured soldier at point blank range or when in a confined space. As such these pistols are righly feared by assasins who go after Eosian officials...

Triarch - GUA-75

Triarch Inc newest ADATs missile weapon designed for man portable use, using a easy to swap out warhead option for its missiles and an easily swappable launch segment the weapon can be used to engage low flying aerial targets or heavily armoured main battle tanks with equal ease. An extremely easy guiding system allows use of the weapon with even minimal training and its remarkably durable and light frame means it can be carried with minimal degredation in movement speed due to weight. The GUA-75 Is already in service with Triarch Inc. Forces and is available for sale across the galaxy.

Capitol - CFA-45C

Capitols newest assault rifle, created in the closing days of the war production was restarted by the AGA occupation government as a boon to the Capitol economy. The weapon uses heavy 12mm ammunition to help fight against heavy foes, and while it has a smaller clip than most the stopping power and versatility of firing micro explosives gives the CFA-45C an already vicious reputation. It is usually found in the hands of Occupation army forces but plenty of models have already been found in ISS and BGS hands.

Union of Worlds - APR-60 Plasma Rifle

The APR-60 is the Unions principal current main firearm for all of its troops. Based from the APR-50 the 60 was designed less for sheer ROF and more for stopping power. With a reduced ROF the plasma blasts from this gun have increased in potency to combat the more harder to kill enemies the Union currently faces with the Nakai, Eosians and more. With each bolt able to prove more than a threat to fully powered infantry the infantryman can use approximately 240 shots before needing to reload with single, semi auto bursts of 3 rounds and fully auto of around 600 rounds a minute (which cannot be sustained for more than around 20 seconds before barrel degradation occurs) The gun comes with fully HUD integrated sights and a full heat venting system.

Union of Worlds - Infantry Cascade Cannon

A firm favourite for those who fought in the Draken war the 110 is the infantry derived variant of the legendary Cascade cannon, an extremely rapid fire plasma weapon able to tear through entire infantry units. The 110 has less stopping power than those found on vehicles but has a ROF of around 1600rpm although this cannot be sustained for more than 40 seconds for barrel and safety reasons. These weapons are given to Union infantry support sections and also used by HPA troops for clearance. The veritable hailstorm they can lay down is enough to surpress or shred whatever the force may be engaging, even ligher vehicles.

Cutie Mai Mai - MAWLR

Yamanakako - QBZ-101

Zentherans - SGR-34 Maser Rifle

Designed and built by the Aum'Fee Arms Group, the SGR-34 Maser Rifle is the most widely adopted rifle in service with the ZSR Armed Forces. First introduced in 2289, the rifle has seen service for 43 years and has gone through many upgrades and modifications. Soldiers praise it for its ease of handling and servicing, but dislike the gun, seeing it as having a barbaric exterior. Plans to replace the SGR-34 have been proposed, but no solid design has been given consideration.

Serstine - Hammerblow Plasma Railgun

Few Serstine weapons, especially firearms, are what one could call “standard,” but they tend to be grouped by configuration, ammunition type (plasma or gyrojet round), and role. The Hammerblow is an example of a weapon type with very little uniformity from example to example, as it is the weapon of choice for Gun Eaters who put guns on the ends of their arms, with Gun Eaters often constructing their bodies with more and more arms to have more of these long-range, hard-hitting plasma railguns, which have verniers on them to keep them on target as they fire bursts of superheated plasma at thousands of rounds per minute. The long blades above and below the muzzle on this particular example make it just as dangerous in close quarters as it is above anything outside the longest ranges. Its brutal recoil is something that only a Serstine body can wrangle effectively, or alternately, exploit as an extra means of thrust.

Serstine - Horn-Punch Gyrojet Rifle

The Serstine fascination with plasma, rockets and high-speed flight embodies itself in their weapons, and for small arms, many of their weapons which aren’t plasma guns are gyrojet weapons. The Horn-Punch is a common type of gyrojet rifle used as an automatic rifle or machine gun with Suntouched squads, depending on tactics and Suntouched preferences. A coilgun launch stage makes the rounds lethal at close ranges, and as they accelerate on rocket power, they only get more and more damaging. Many employ a mix of kinetic and explosive rounds, changing up the ratio for target type or personal preference. The example seen here is fed by an assault drum and is bare save for some decorative striping, presumably to emphasize the lightness of the model.

Serstine - Knifehand Plasma Rifle

A common plasma gun most frequently seen in the hands of Suntouched warriors, the Knifehand is the Serstine equivalent of a combat rifle. As close to a baseline Serstine gun as one could possibly get, it is a handheld rifle which fires bolts of superheated plasma at a very high fire rate, with thruster vents to stabilize it. Relatively short and rounded, they represent the all-rounder guns and assault rifles, and see much use in assaults and close quarters, even over more specialized guns. The pitot tube over the barrel and the chromed appearance are marks of status.

Kepler - FL-8

“There's a patrol of Centauri Peekies heading through Region-562 on a dirt track… Should be near your position shortly...”

“Copy, over and out.” This was the life of an ambush predator, slinking through the mud and trees of this shithole world of 610 Bernard hoping that intelligence was correct on their movements to strike at the right time. The predator deployed the bipod on the FL8 rifle to get it steady on the tree branch he was laying on and was ready. It was a heavier battle rifle, firing 8.5-millimeter armor-piercing rounds with enough power to blow a man's arm right off the body.

The Peacekeepers came over the ridge and were visible through the rifles infrared scope, it took but a second of sustained fire and chaos for them to drop.

Silence returned to the forest floor.

Kepler - P27

Never underestimate the value of a sidearm.

This was advice from basic training that was circling in her mind on this mostly empty station. Mostly. Before the Centauri abandoned this civilian transport hub they left behind a few hundred of their war robots, nasty machines really. They were fast, heavily armored, and armed. However, they were able to be neutralized by a good shot to the arm servos. She heard one of them walking down the hallway, scraping along from its destroyed leg from an earlier engagement.

She silently removed the pistol from her holster, it was a P27, a rather normal sight in the Air Forces armory boasting impressive accuracy and stopping power. The machine dragged itself through the corridor, she was hiding against the wall near the door, waiting for it to expose itself to her.

Three rounds rang throughout the corridor as the robots metal hand tried to reach for her before it fell limp. She needed to get back to her squad now, more of those machines would be coming soon.

Daedalus - BR43 Larue

"Seeking a new standard railgun to distinguish their new philosophy, the Daedalus Research Institute took inspiration from other areas, and developed a railgun not that dissimilar from their roots, but on a much more elegant scale. The result was a railgun much more suited to the varied environments it would likely see in the coming future, able to provide reliable performance and greater flexibility in the hands of the Council's forces."

Restevia - CMB-022 'Sheptat'

'Developed in response to a need for a new special ops rifle to suit the needs of NKUSO troops in the changing battlefields of Ancerious and further, the CMB-022 Sheptat, or Special Forces Rifle 022 Whisper in Galactic Basic, has been designed specifically to address these requests and concerns. Chambered in a fifty caliber variable velocity round, the Sheptat like many of it's predecessors can operate in any number of environments, but unlike it's predecessors, fulfills many of the roles of it's predecessors by itself. Well received so far by NKUSO, the Sheptat is likely to serve for some time, quiet, deadly, and adaptable.'

Free Worlds - M81A3 "Hammer"

'Take the humble service rifle, the M81. Simple, right? Wrong. The Hammer was a gun almost a hundred years in development, testing, and redevelopment, because we had more versions of that thing that were made than old Earth did of the M4. Some were good, some were bad, some never saw deployment and so weren't numbered. But the M81A3, now this thing's a honey of a gun. Hits like a truck, nice and accurate, comfortable to shoot and hell bent for 'never-gonna-break'. You could hand me any number of guns to use and I'd use 'em, but give me a choice and I think I'll take my Hammer, thank you much.'
-- SSGT William Alrek, Free Worlds 72nd Bolzen Militia Battalion

Dominion -AC6 Accelerator Carbine

The AC6 was a relatively recent addition to the dominion’s armory and fit the template for standard accelerator weaponry. Accelerator weapons were in essence, coil guns which fired pencil-sized flechettes of superdense ferrous materials at several kilometers per second, eclipsing standard bullets in kinetic energy several dozen times over. The high energy demands and powerful recoil meant that the weapons were impossible to use by individuals outside of powered armor or exoskeletons to use, necessitating a power port on the grip that could interface with a coupling in the palm of powered armor, and serving as a hard line to return targeting data to the user. The AC6 was designed specifically for urban combat and boarding actions, optimized for a high rate of fire and compact profile.

UNE - M1V2 Plasma Rifle

The M1V2 Plasma Rifle is a frontline combat weapon utilized by the Void Marines, Solaris Bellatarii, and various elite forces of the United Nezerian Empire for its reliability, fire-rate, stability, impact force, and brutal stopping power. The Rifle was developed by Kallihan Weapons Systems to fill in a need for rapid-fire high power energy weapons and possesses a rate of fire in upwards of 950RPM with a 30 shot Plasma Power Cell as well as a Night Vision, Thermal, and Motion Sensor Red-Dot High Focus Optic Sight and an underslung grenade launcher fitted with particle shockwave bolts. M1V2s have been known to pick off targets from 3-4km away crossing a kilometer in just half a second with the actual plasma bolt having a density in upwards of 51.75 grams of superheated plasma per square cubic centimeter making the bolts denser than Osmium which has a density of just 22.5 cubic grams per square centimeter.

Solaris Bellatarii Sergeant Raemis Aradii was quoted as saying in regards to the rifle's performance; "They have a good punch but an awful reverse kick. Sure it's got good balance due to recoil compensators allowing the gun to be anywhere even remotely useful but the residual recoil after is still a pain in the arse. Despite that being my only grievance and a big one amongst the troops I'd still take an M5 any day of the fuckin' week".

Galactic Knights - Punisher Assault Cannon

The Punisher Assault Cannon in service to the Galactic Knights of the United Nezerian Empire is an absolutely monstrous firearm in terms of kinetic stopping power. The Punisher has been observed to possess a 15 shot Mass Driver feed system that can accelerate a High-Density Adamantite Kinetic Penetrator Bolt to roughly 2.3-3km/s at maximum charge at the risk of overloading the Capacitators and melting the Mass Driver Rails thus destroying the gun, at medium charge it drops down to 1.5km/s and low charge to 950-1km/s. Each mass driver bolt possesses a density in upwards of 80.2 grams per cubic centimeter of the densest material known to the Empire capable of tearing through light and medium PA. Despite its significant power, it's recoil and it's lack of a large amount of ammo including a semi-noticeable reduction in fire-rate makes this Medium MG Class Weapon a good support weapon as opposed to the Darachar Pattern Weapon Platform and Javelin Sniper Rifle. Specifics wise it fires an 80.2 g/cm^3 High-Density Adamantite Bolt with roughly 1 round every 0.15 seconds at 950-1km/s at a low charge, 1.5km/s at a normal charge, and 2.2-3km/s at max charge.

Knight Sergeant Remurus Thamelis is once quoted as saying:

"They kick like Stormwolves and hit like a freight train but they're slow, somewhat cumbersome, and incredibly lethal. Anyone who sees Knights has only a few weapons besides us that they'll for sure want dead, the Punisher Cannoneers, Darachar Heavy Gunners, and Javelin Sharpshooters, the former'll gut your power armored forces and the latter will start takin' heads before you get within effective range. And that middle one'll just straight up scythe your lads down while Saigarus Rifles are crossfirin' Ye"

Bo'Shyen - Zey'Ahn

One of the deadlier weapons in the Republic arsenal the Zey’Ahn or “Swift Death” sniper rifle is a weapon to be feared. Using a miniature partial acceleration technologies similar to most other partial weapons of the Bo’Shyen the rifle amps up the power creating a far higher velocity to the “rounds”. Favored by members of the Pathfinder Corps the weapon has earned its name through combat in the recent Second Rashan War as an effective and deadly weapon for taking out primary targets and sowing chaos in enemy ranks.

Bo'Shyen - Ahn'Pok-30

The Ahn’Pok or “Death Caster” is one of the primary weapons of the Republic military seeing use from the Grey Guard all the way to some units of the Royal and Senate Guard. The weapons status as a plasma round caster gives it a shorter effective range then many weapons of the same scale but the bolts hit no less as hard, sacrificing some range for stopping power per round. Newer designs are being put into effect that use a combination of solid round and plasma bolt however these are prototypes and are yet to see major service or supplant the older and reliable design.

Trazsick - Shard Rifle

Wielded by the insectoid Trazsick the Shard rifle is an odd but no less effective killer at medium to close range. Using a similar technology to most accelerators the weapon fires shards of razor sharp nano molecular bolts at a rapid speed chewing through many different armored targets and shredding unarmored targets. Similar to the natural ferocity and deadly natural weapons of its wielder’s the weapon is both one of fear as well as war.

CSA - LR-23 "Whistler"

In response for the rise in Power Armor with the Mk1 Cyclops a weapon was designed by Colonial military to defend against such weapons of war. Using the knowledge of coil and magnetic rail technologies the Colonial Military was able to produce the clunky LR-23 Rail Rifle. Nicknamed the “Whistler” due to the sound the rounds make as they fly through the air the weapon has become a favorite of Anti-light armor and PA operations and used often as a sniper or ambush weapon. Though the use of this weapon against infantry isn’t outlawed.....it is usually frowned upon.

CSA - IL-04 "Sunburst"

A second one the advancements of military technology the Infantry Laser Mk4 is a far cry from the massive clunky laser cannons used by the Colonial Army. The “Sunburst” is the first in the new generation of infantry portable laser weaponry with an option of exchangeable battery or long lasting power pack connected to the weapons port. Used as mostly anti-infantry or anti-light Armor the weapon is seem normally in the hands of the more elite units of the Ground Marines and Army.

Pords - GAR-25

The GAR-25 was the Tnem-Fragg Armoury's answer to the growing inadequacies of Pordish bolt rifles in the face of the increasingly heavy power armour fielded by Barlat armies. Chambered for caseless 25x185mm ammunition, the GAR-25 was equipped with many of the same systems found on other Pordish small arms and light weaponry, and came to form the backbone of the infantry branch. First fielded in 1 BBT, it was tempered in the fires of the CHS-JSOC War, and has served in every conflict - major and minor - since its adoption.

Pords - GAR-15

When the Kenzhelengrazhni Guard were formed in 360 ABT, they required a lightweight rifle that could be used by infantry without the assistance of strength-enhancing equipment. Given the continued need for usefulness against enemy power armour, however, a compromise was made: Pordish gunsmiths settled on a 15mm rotary autorifle design chambered for armour-piercing sabots. The new GAR-15 was given the same suite of electronics and kinetic-specific hardware as found on other weapons throughout Pordish domains, and it was then issued to the various levee and light infantry forces fighting under the turquoise trident.

Krovaedians - Plasma Carbine

Krovaedians - Distruptor Rifle

Imperium - Tythus

Issued to elite shock infantry, the Tythus Accelerator functions much like a normal ballistic shotgun, but with a magnetically controlled plasma burst instead. Optionally, a barrel extension can also be added and the magnetic field can be constricted to provide a sniper rifle with all the focused stopping power of the original shotgun mode.

Imperium - Diocletian

As the Imperium's general medium-range infantry weapon of choice, the Diocletian use accelerated ballistic rounds to punch through enemy armor and shielding. The low recoil and high rate of fire make it perfect for massed infantry assaults, but less than optimal for precise or close-quarters combat.

Imperium - Hadrian

When outfitting the Legions that form the backbone of their empire's military power, the Imperium produced a weapon that performs as the best of both worlds. As a fusion weapon, the Hadrian rifle provides even infantry units with minor anti-armor capabilities, with the default semi-automatic fire mode allowing for precise and accurate fire. However, the fully automatic mode also lets soldiers unleash a hail of plasma bolts into the foe at will.

(Me!)

COE - WWS-10

WarDrive, subsidiary of CoreDrive Systems, presents the newest iteration of the ever-popular HSP series of platoon-level fire support weaponry. Version ten of the product line includes an enhanced high-angle engagement capability without sacrificing firepower, meaning infantry can continue to keep the 10mm ETC rounds flowing even in urban and mountainous terrain. The electronic fire unit can be calibrated for any rate of fire between four and fifteen hundred, expanding its adaptability and enhancing long-range and point-blank engagement capability respectively. With an MSRP of 150Ck, sales are open to all military and security entities, as well as B-level license holders.

COE - MSP-23

No world was quite like this one. Thick, soupy air that you almost literally had to swim in, harvester towers stretching into the ever-lit sky whose lightning made it nearly impossible to actually get to the surface. One wouldn't think a sniper rifle was the weapon of choice here... but between the foliage and fog, none of the insurgent's rounds had yet to make their mark much less hurt the Operant. His steeled eyes focused down one of the vague silhouettes, thermal signatures in the scope confirming its presence as a hostile. A single trigger pull and the man instantly dropped dead. On to the next one. And the next. Until he could go home.

COE - Reik's Revolvers

"Hang on to this for me, will you?" Reik quipped, slipping the revolver from his holster and sliding it to his assistant at his side. Eyes widened all around the table.

In the blink of an eye, the obscene excuses of sapient races across from the Carnaithian general began screaming "GUN!" this, "SECURITY!" that; two of them - tall, scaled, taloned barbarians - stood and began running across the otherwise-pristine surface. Reik's signature smirk didn't have enough time to crawl across his face before the shadowy Skia wraiths swept the two off the surface - the strictly-speaking brainless and incoherent creatures having enough sense in their weightless bodies to realize he wasn't making a threat.

"What gives you the right to level threats at this table?" He verbally jabbed, pointing at the Emerald Sword towering across the table from the Tenebraen representatives. "Whose meeting are you-" "Reik!" "Attending? Where do you think we are? What spite drives-" "REIK!" "You to so thoroughly offend the present tone?" "REIK!"

The Blackstone in his arm tangled and bunched - that much he could feel, none could see. It shot itself directly to the right of his head. The pinch of a skia's limb grabbed it in a disarming gesture. The screams and commotion on part of the Coalition participants did nothing to distract Solan's stare from the Emerald Sword's helmet.

"ENOUGH!" a representative shouted. "This is a peace conference and shall be treated as such!" they called, reaffirming the High General's point. One of the Skia had nimbly retrieved the revolver that sparked all of this - it rested in Admiral Hargun's hands at the head of the table, the venerable commander scowling down at it.

"This meeting is adjourned. We will meet again in two hour's time. The Immortal Empire representative will take his leave."

Reik's grin widened.

Leistunganos - BPU-A

Curiously, the primary weapon of Leistunganos is a "blaser" - bullet laser, so you will. Just like a laser, except it fires in "bullets." Hence the name. Useful for their particular ambush tactics; send up a drone with a mirror, issue their guys these things with smart-sights, and you have pinpoint indirect laser fire on priority threats. Proactive measures are a must to avoid attrition under these conditions.

Leistunganos - HVAP-30

The attack report is messy, sir. The crew weren't combat-ready, and the raid left them all dead, directly or indirectly as a result of these guns - we only recovered one. Six millimeter fragmenting slug at five hundred meters per second; almost useless in field combat, but more than useful in microgravity or urban combat environments. My best suggestion is to increase security budget on deep space installation programs.

Yes, I'm aware that the descriptions aren't complete, but I'll get them done. Just wanted to make sure this was posted before February was through.

The union rifle(and cascade cannon, by extension), as well as the other weapons on the sheet, was designed first and foremost to more appropriately fit into the Union aesthetic than previous weapons; the fact it's fluffed as a higher-damage weapon than its predecessors is coincidental. If you really wanted to bring up the bigger guns on the sheet, why not the Capitol CFA, 850 Series, or WWS-10?

That statement kind of sidesteps the whole role of a weapon generally described as a rifle - they're meant to kill peer units... that is, infantry. The Nakai weapon is very likely to leave holes in enemy ships, but not much more; I'd be more worried about Drake magic, though, and I doubt the Singers are so wasteful as to inject that much energy into mere infantry armaments.
