The crystal Matriarch was created with the main objective of expanding the influence of the crystal entity, this extremely rare species from the mines is found in 4 phases, Egg, larva and adult, with one in every 100 thousand being a Matriarch, they live without the influence of the entity, but they still obey it, they usually build nests in deeper areas with little light, their predatory behavior is unknown, but it is believed that they use ambushes.

Harfol's Notes: On the 28th day of the thirtieth year of the New Era. It has been 10 days since we entered the crystal caves. Our chief engineer proposed the construction of a safety zone, something unnecessary in my opinion, as our goal is to study the crystals; we should do this as quickly as possible. No creature would survive so far down in the caves.
On the 31st or 32nd day, being so deep in the earth makes us lose track of time since there is no natural light to assist us. The initial forays into the caves began noisily; explosives were detonated in tunnel A-3. The explosion caused some small earthquakes that ultimately destroyed the stairs to the fungal zone. The chief engineer determined that the priority was to rebuild the stairs. It seems he does not understand the importance of our research.
