Negima fanart of Madoka Kugimiya...Madoka's my most favorite Negima character, after Ako Izumi...

At first, I wasn't going to include a guitar...I then included it after running through Volume 14 looking for a reference for her hair, and came across the panel where Dekopin Rocket are doing their gig for the Mahora Rock Fest...The guitar featured is a Dean Dimebag Razorback...Don't ask why; The guitar looks too metal for Madoka, but it's a badass guitar, and because I said so dammit! Plus, the guitar is my compensation for my lack of skill in drawing human anatomy...

I've also been going through an Atreyu phase lately after buying their "Lead Sails Paper Anchor" album, so their little logo thing is what's on her armband thing...Don't ask why; The little bio thing on her in the manga says she's into Western music, but I ain't putting no goddamn Avril Lavigne references in my drawings...

I did want to digitally color it this weekend, but I'm not gonna have any free time soon for any weekends in the immediate future, so that's gonna have to go on hold for a while...

...and I swear, the next time I do a drawing, I'm either drawing small or I'm getting bigger sheets of paper...
