A Human design this time, my second ship.

This experimental design based on Covenant vessels ranks amongst the smallest frigates of the UNSCDF. Miniature twin ion-flux engines and a small array of classic fusion engines power this fast and agile ship, and its Shaw-Fujikawa generators are the most efficient encountered on any human ship, because copied from Covenant technology. Mainly used for a recon support role, it is lightly armed with only medium MACs and generic 30mm cannons, and hosts a Bravo-class recon ship on its rear upper hull.
However, its most interesting features are the experimental plasma turret (installed above the forward compartment) and the shields. Contrarily to the Covenant systems, which send slow plasma 'torpedoes' through space and control them through magnetic fields, this turret creates a thin magnetic 'tunnel' from its emitter to the target and then blasts a fast stream of superheated plasma along the path, effectively cutting straight through the targeted ship. It earned itself the nickname of 'scalpel' for its terrifying precision and results. As for the shields, they simply are the bigger version of those used on the SPARTAN MJOLNIR armor, able to withstand a limited amount of damage before giving up.
