It makes me think of twisted fairytalesCompressed, the words wearing the lie like a performer
You should know that,
Ctrl + Del doesn’t work here, you can’t just X the box
And my lies are melting away from the words,
Their blistering skin leaving patches of
“I love you and please don’t talk about her”
But you can’t see this
It’s staring you in the eyes and you are
A blind man.
But hiding from me nonetheless without
Thinking.
You don’t see that I know this and I know we can never have
I love you and mornings in bed and nights in heaven
The story has no happily ever after
But
What story really has a happy ending?
(At least, that’s what I tell myself to keep myself from falling apart and breaking up and crying out and hurting you)
