I adore photographs where subjects are brought to focus and the background then distorted or blurred. I also adore the reverse. You have such a dutiful model! I love the way winter weather turns only specific parts of the face a soft pink. The nose, a certain round outline of the cheek; that naturalism is beautiful.
The focus is fantastic! you can see several wandering strands of hair well defined against that soft-blurred background, very nice touch. ^_^

Our meeting was quite bizarre; I watched her/idolised her on Deviantart, and then when I came to University, who should live in my flat building?! It was quite odd, but then again... I think we were meant to meet
I like what the snow did to her complexion (mine too, we look very alike), it made her look... crisp? I don't know if that is the right word... but I think it might be!
