Description Was playing around with drawing, and suddenly inspiration struck. This creature would have the same pattern of attack as Ancient enemies,Β with two exceptions:

First, it's massive claw arm is wide enough to use as a shield, so when charging or walking forward, it will block using its claw to guard its head and most of its body.
And second, it will smash its claw arm down, causing an attack similar to Ember's World on Fire and Frost's Ice Wave abilities, causing a series of explosions in a row out in front of itself.

Plus it has fire damage on its normal attacks. The main purpose of this unitΒ would be for the Infestation to better counter Melee 2.0, which has made the Infestation severely underpowered.

Warframe is owned by Digital Extremes, and if you haven't checked it out yet and you like Sci-Fi third person shooters, I'd totally recommend it.

Thanks man!

Yeah, I actually have Crazybump. I use it to make bump maps for texture work, especially back when I was making my Half-Life 2 mod.

It does wonders for smooth shaded illustration work, especially if you happen to have a model for it too - but as I mentioned, most of my work is enhanced with crazybump!

Hey, any chance you could direct me towards some modelling apps? I want to get into the realm of 3-D for the purpose of game designing.

Sure thing, I've used many of these before, so this is a good place to start:
From wikipedia List of freeware 3D modeling software

With 3D Rendering Support:
Anim8or
Art of Illusion
AutoQ3D Community
Blender
BRL-CAD
Bryce
Carrara
Clara.io
DAZ Studio
MikuMikuDance
Quake Army Knife
Sketchup
TrueSpace
Wings 3D
Zmodeler

And since many sites offer apps & content, not all are reputable - if you stick to well known popular sites, then you'll be good to go!
The next site I'm checking into is 123dapp.com from Autodesk!
And since all the different modeling modules probably work together as a suite, it might be just what I'm looking for, but it doesn't have the rendering!

Then finding one you like to use is up to you!
But unless your into multiple app suites, you should try the ones that have built in 3D rendering support - and much easier to see what your model will look like as it's being made.

I'm having to use any app I can find that doesn't use OpenGL, since Win7 has seen fit to come up short on support for it with my card - but I am looking into fixing it.

I hope that helps!

Hah, I actually have Quake Army Knife, but I haven't figured out how to use it yet.
Thanks for the list though man, I'll have to check them out when I have the chance.

Just do a search, I'm sure youtube or google has some
interesting tutorial links on using Quake Army Knife ☺
