This should actually go under "Manga" since that's where I got the title from, but I know if I put it under Manga where it really belongs DA is just going to stick it in TV/Movies along with "Fighting the Darkness". I still don't understand WHY they did that when what I was illustrating happened in the manga, not the anime. Inuyasha was originally a manga series for four years before it became an anime, peoples, and the manga is still going long after the anime ended.
Okay, done ranting.
I've been re-reading the Inuyasha manga now from the beginning since it seems to be drawing to a close... I wanted to see just how much the anime changed slightly or left out completely, because those little things really can change the tone of the story.
Anyway, I got to the point in the manga where Kagome unseals Inuyasha and I thought "Boy, that would be a neat image." Three weeks later, I'm finished with this. It turned out being a hell of a lot more involved than I originally intended.
I got the title from the manga because (in the scanlation, at least) when Kagome pulls on the arrow she says "Revive, Inuyasha!". I would have used the full quote, but DA won't let me put an exclamation point in the title.

His eyes are super intense and gives him a creepy feeling, considering the asshole he was back then... Love the look and how they're drawn, kinda realistic, but not at the same time.

Very beautiful piece, the color cast, value structure, all perfect and so striking. The only thing I would say is that everything seems to have too similar of a texture, but I actually sorta like that about the picture at the same time.

THAT. IS. AWESOME!! I've enjoyed some of your other works, and this one is so cool! I love Inuyasha's expression: he seems shocked, caught up in the sudden rushing return of his powers, with a hint of insanity induced by his impending freedom. And Kagome just looks so desperate, caught in the feeling that although what she is doing might not be the smartest thing to do, she simply has no choice. This is such a climatic moment, and you've captured it perfectly!

Wow...what an incredible piece. The use of lighting to highlight the expressions on their faces...the darkness surrounding them. It's incredibly evocative and truly illlustrates the tension underlying that part of the manga. Great work!

the one thing i really admire about your work is your depth perception, and it really shines through with this one.and the way the arrows glow shine on Inuyasha and Kagome,... i'm sure you get a lot of this, but you did an excellent job on this. you have a way of really making characters pop and come to life. thank you for sharing this.

a really nice scene is wen in Naraku, Kagome's spiritual power returns and the whole place shakes
but Inu jumps and catches her and as he holds her and returns to the ground, she purifies him

As much as I'd love to continue doing Inuyasha stuff, I have A-kon to start getting ready for so I need to get down to business on other fandoms. Unfortunately Inuyasha doesn't seem to do well in the con circuit anymore. The fickle dubbies have moved on to other things.
