A long, long time ago (last October maybe?), I participated in an art chat/challenge where the topic was to draw one of the SWAT Kat characters as someone from another show. I chose to draw Chance as Kogenta from "Onmyou Taisenki". So, here he is finally colored.Chance was done in Prismacolor markers and pencils. The background was created in Photoshop with a little bit of texture from Mayang's Free Texture Library .

Interesting! Chance looks really wonderful in the new outfit, though I'm not familiar with the show it's from. Nice pose you've got him in, and great job with the colors; they're vibrant and smooth. ^^

but to see Chance witha giganct sword make me wanna search fror my "long and forgoten" SK cartoons (shame on me for losing them in my room some place >< )

Thank you! I'm glad you like the color and the action pose. I wasn't sure how well this one came out, but I was tired of just drawing headshots. (I haven't posted those, but that's mostly what I've drawn until just recently.)

That's just part of Kogenta's outfit. If it has any purpose beyond a costume design element, I'm not aware of it.

Thats totally sweet! I love it! He kinda reminds me of Goku from Dragon Ball Z, but oh well; nice job on the colors!

Thanks! And, heh... I was afraid that he'd look like a Dragonball Z character. But, I didn't notice the resemblance until I sat down to color it. When I realized how it would look, I did a quick test color giving him Kogenta's pale blue hair, and that just looked awful. So, I went with his usual hair color and... oh well.

Well, don't worry; that very same thing has happened to me where some of my own characters are given new looks and they come out looking like other cartoon characters 
I'm a huge Dragonball Z fan, so this just caught my eye, and I'm sure it will with a whole lot of others! Its awesome, great job once again!
