This was sitting for about a week unfinished because I was so busy, but here is my entry for the Draw This Again contest... "Under the Rain"!Original : [link]

It was barely two years ago that I first drew this piece, and I am pretty happy with my own progress.
I love birds and parrots so much, and I think that really pushed me to try harder and create something better each day. I hope everyone likes it!

My goodness, Kristyn, what an improvement! Now, I see the rain in the background and some falling on him, too, instead of yellow strings hanging from above. The feathers look like feathers, and all the colors are beautiful and seem more accurate. It seems you have more knowledge on what the bird look like, and your technique with colored pencils is really improving, too.
I'm not sure how 'visionary' fits into this category - showing a theme, or point of view? (So I could not give 5 stars - but that might be my misunderstanding of what they want.) But I don't see many pictures of it raining on animals in paradise, so that is pretty original to me at least.
