Say hello to a character of mine, Lena, who spans back years to a random name I picked for my Diablo II Assassin. I kept the name and put it on a character I had in mind for a game I wanted to make, but the thing is, I was terrible at drawing at the time and she looked HORRIBLE, it was my first attempt at anime stuff at the time, but was nothing like it, it was scary.Moving on and she's had some serious remodelling, I recently stumbled accross Puyo Pop Fever, a fun game with an awesome art style that I just had to try my hand at, and I really like this style for some reason. Anyway, she's become a chibi type anime character now, and I like her that way.

man! i luv this game. PPF is one of my fav puzzle game. undoubt the best puzzle game ever played.
yu did yur chara so fantastic. really, anyone will be able to say that it's a character coming from PPF so much she's well made. all the details are marvelous and perfect having a real PPF style. yu know, yu should do a ref of her (Puyo set, stat in Fever mode, etc) and send it to Sega. sure that they will appreciate over there. seriously *nods*
yu draw anime too good, my dear. also, i wonder why it's not the most faved whereas it's a splendid pic.

Actually, it was made in Adobe Illustrator 10, but it could've been done in Photoshop as well. Thanks for the fav! And I agree, Puyo Pop Fever rocks, I love the style of the characters in that game. ^^

Heh, thanks. I did a lot of studying of the style of Puyo Pop art, I like to get any art I do as close as I can to the original style.

Look it up, Puyo Pop Fever, it's a really fun style to mess around with and the colouring and everything is so simple, plus it's very cute. I have 4 more characters I want to turn into this style.

I've never actually seen the style of Puyo Pop, so I can't really make any comments based on how accurate it is. But, in its own sense, I think you did a really good job on the overall drawing and line-work. Wonderful job.

The original style had thick line work, it was really only the eyes that were overdrawn due to the fact I screwed them up when I drew them. The rest was fine.
