actually a second storyboard I've ever done ;w; I should make them more often...but next time won't have colors nor BG XD

I haven't watched the shows newer episodes enough to catch some of this some for myself but is it implied that Pearl loved Rose and is the one that misses her the most?

It's actually starting very early in the show. It's HEAVILY implied that Pearl loved Rose so much [ROMANTICALLY but Rose didn't love Pearl in that way] she couldn't imagine living without her, Rose, as Pearl have said, was the purpose of her life. And now Rose's gone. And Pearl is the only one who can't get over Rose's death. She cannot move on. She's trapped. Etc...
So I guess yeah, you can say that XD

ah I see, so Pearl is basicly a one-sided yuri, a girl who pines for another even though they dont "love" them the same way.
I guess thats why shes the one who's the most determined to raise Steven, kinda like the child she wish she might have had with pearl (though I could be just projecting the same backstory between Metal Gear solids "the Boss" and Doctor Strangelove)
still very deep stuff for a kids demographic show :3 (btw I think that's the less insulting term to use since "kids" show doesn't do alot of programming justice these days, but they are targeted tword kids)

Thank u very much! ^7^ I used SAI to draw the frames, as for me sai is the best for making lines and I'm all about good lines, and then used Photoshop to make a gif out of it

Ok. So far, in class we've learned how to use a program called Toon Boom. So you just save the images as a .gif and then that's how you make the animation?

Haha, well, I'd really like to have even a slightly professional software in which I would animate my things better, but I don't have even half the money for one month subscription, so I have to use whatever I have for free. And prolly I'll have to search for "free version" because software like that is rly expensive.
And yes, I save the images as a .gif and set their speed. Though, as for me, PS is too slow [or I just can't animate at all lol which is 99% possible] plus I cannot save the gif in original resolution which upsets me.
Also, I'd love to study animation but unfortunately, I wasn't quick enough with my submission to the uni [plus it's in another city], so I'll have to wait a year till I can get another chance there ;w; and bacisally go to work to collect money so I'll be able to rent a flat there...

Well. the software I'm using, Toon Boom or Storyboard Pro, is free for students; but only if I use it at school.
It was interesting when you said you used Photoshop because one of my instructors had told me that that was the only
program he used. I think though that he has the Adobe Suite, so he can use InDesign and Illustrator to help him.
And the school I go to is in another city also. I commute two hours one way to get there. It'll be worth it though to have
an animation job.

Hoh, I will have to search for good free programs for now, hopefully my future uni is going to provide me with good softwares for free X"D cauz it's really expensive ehh. Oh, I will also have like 2 hours one way to my future uni...unless I rent smth there, but on the other side of that, I'll be alone in the city I don't have knowledge of. That's why I need this year to rethink everything and maybe earn some money. But yessss an anomation job will be so rewarding
