A concept of a suit for a Martian to survive on Earth, enclosed to protect it from Earth's microbes and legs to help it move in our greater gravity.

I love science fiction, largely because it leaves you with so much to think of, like; what kind of culture do these aliens have, how does this technology work, how would this change the world? With the novel War of the Worlds my favorite question to ask is, "What if the martians learned from their first invasion and eventually came back? How would Humanity fare? Would reverse engineering the technology give us enough of an edge to survive?" There have been some Shows and movies based on that concept but from what I've seen I'm not thrilled, the closest to something interesting was in the Jeff Wayne's The War of the Worlds prologue where years later NASA visited Mars to be attacked by the Martians.
