I've always rather liked this sort of grungy editing. Gave it a shot. Not overly sure on the results, but I've learned a few things getting it here.

She kind of has a Keira Knightley look going on, mostly in the eye area ([link] ). What would you call the light spots or whatever the splotches are? They remind me of looking out a window with light reflecting off the glass from the room behind you. I like it.

She's a great gal. Really know what she's doing; been doing it for over 6 years, I believe.
The splotches are just various brushes and layer effects and overlays. It was kind of going for a "beat up old portrait" sort of style.
