Summary: Yellow Diamond was once a militant, merciless, and impatient tyrant. But after learning about Pink Diamond’s true fate and interacting with Steven, she was convinced to change. She was hesitant at first, but eventually relented after constant pleas from Steven and Blue Diamond. The three worked to change Gem culture, removing the focus on status and appearance and emphasizing equality and acceptance. She’s often too busy to visit Earth, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t care. Yellow Diamond may not show it, but she actually cherishes her time with Steven and his family more than anything. Like Blue Diamond, she has a fear of losing them, so she made a vow to help whenever she can, no matter what.
