Okay, I reeeally like this <3 Some of you might recognize this doodle from my Oswald sketches. Well, I liked it enough to paint, I just thought it was that sweet :>

I didn't really know what I wanted for the background, except that I wanted a bright blue sky for the majority and blocks of color broken up by strips of white.

I finally decided to go for a stone wall, but I didn't want to just make it plain gray or anything, so I Googled some pictures of stones walls and loved this one: [link]

Lemme tell you, this took quite a while xD Mostly because I kept getting distracted, and had to wait for the paint to dry, but still.

I'm very satisfied with how the blocks of color turned out in this background this time. I'll probably be using this technique often now that I've found a satisfying outcome.

YA KNOW I had this lying around partially painted for a few days with no desire/inspiration to finish. BUT THEN a bit of um..."drama" occurred recently and BOOM inspiration. It's funny how lulz can motivate one to finish a painting

ANYWAYS, Oswald and Ortensia. THEY ARE WORMING THEIR WAY INTO MY HEART Imma tell ya. They're just...adorable. I love their relationship.

I'm not quite sure where they stand on my top 5 OTP list. Not in the first three, for sure, since those are (first to third) WizTail, Royai and Ling/LanFan (they're tiiiied because I can't make up my mind anymore ;_;), and Rachel/Tobias. I think they're probably fourth though... BUT at least they're not on my OT3 list. That would be...weird.

BUT ENOUGH ABOUT THAT. And so I must now end this comment because it's cold, late, and I want to sleeeeep.
