Well, Graham Markay, the VP of Operations, has said that they (the creators) will consider
same-sex marriage for future game development. The producers always try to be receptive to what Harvest Moon/Rune Factory game fans want. But, some other people have criticized the idea, questioning how the bachelor/ettes would be "chosen" as gay or straight, and whether fans would be satisfied with the characters chosen. In my opinion, the option for gay or straight bachelor/ettes should take place at the setup. You know? Enter your name, choose your gender, select your orientation. The game engine would then adapt the bachelor/ettes accordingly.

To look "uke" is to be adorable and effeminate. The term "uke" used most often in Yaoi (gay comics) but can be applied to any situation gay or straight, sexual or non-sexual.

Oh I love all three as well, but I see your point. Can't wait to see what the 4th RF fellow looks like. I personally adore Raguna but that's because I played game 1 without knowing there were two more for the DS/Wii. I've now got all five, beaten all the DS and am working on the wii~

The male protagonist of RF4 looks so Uke that you think he's a girl. Thankfully the female protagonist has long hair so we know she's a girl... although she looks like Miku.
