Description Chapter two...

Mitsuya trembled, hers arms bound by rope. Her long black hair cascaded down her back and her frightend blue eyes were wide. She could clearly remember what had happened for her to get here, since it only happened the previous day.

Everyone was gathered around the sacrifices. Her. And Eto. It was because of how Eto revealed that it was the head council member, Ian, who began the war. It was also due to her questioning and 'lack of faith' putting her in this position.

Glancing to her left, Eto stood perfectly still. His empty grey eyes stared infront of him, to the liquid-covered noose. His blonde hair twisted and swayed with the wind.

He knew the three ways a vampire could die.

By a werewolf. By the hands of another vampire. By Eux Aue Fedrine poison. A single touch of the poison, and your organs start bursting and your flesh rapidly decays and bones become brittle.

"Now, first of all, Eto." Ian wickedly started, having his guards take Eto to the edge of the wooden stage. The orange-colored Eux Aue Fedrine stood out against the rope infront of him.

Suddenly, Eto was pushed into the noose. His head entered the loop as the flooring dissappeared beneath his feet.

The observers gasped as his pale flesh became a deep orange color and, within a couple of seconds, the skin of his neck seemed to stretch as the bones made sickening crunches and cracklings untill his body fell to the ground, his head still in the noose.

Kiga, Miyu, and Kari stared in horror as the noose next to it was carefully smothered with Eux Aue Fedrine. As the wind stilled, it no longer played with Kiga's spiked brown hair. Pure terror shone in his blue eyes.

Miyu was frozen in place. Her black hair was in two braids and her red eyes were bright against her pale skin. Tears were constantly streaming down her face.

Kari remained indifferent. Her blonde hair neatly skimmed her shoulders and her orange eyes showed she was bored. This was the way her parents died. It wasn't a shock to her.

She looked at the teddy bear in her left hand. It's fur wasn't a rich brown, no. That was a human's. Her's was white, just like her, so she always said it was a polar bear.

The sun was setting from behind them, slightly illuminating the sea of green grass. Near the horizon, it was red but above that it was all blue, a dark blue at that.

"And now, Mitsuya!" Ian cackled as Miyu brokedown, refusing to look up. Kari only winced as her foster mother's body dropped with a loud 'thump' onto the, her head soon following.

The crowd dispersed, leaving the three orphans.

"Now, you'll need a new home, correct?" Ian muttered, standing infront of the children. Oh how he hated children.

"Yeah, since you just killed our mom! Bastard!" Kiga snarled, rubbing Miyu's back.

"Stop talking to your elders with a bad tongue, boy, or you'll be sent off with the military, training you for war. Your old enough." Ian spat, glaring at the runts.

He spent a couple of minutes in deep thought.

"Aha! I know the perfect place!" He then laughed, an insane, disturbing laugh that chilled the orphans' to the very bone.
