Bio: ((Wiki bio start)) Mettaton is a confident, charismatic, and charming TV host that loves drama, action, and violence. He lives for his ratings and adores performing. He supposedly strikes a pose when he does something wrong and makes time on his various shows to beat up "heel-turning villains." He shows a rather shallow appreciation for existence at times. Headcanon start: It's been made obvious over the years that MTT is supposed to be an allegory for transgender characters so he probably was female and wanted a male body.

Mettaton is over-the-top, flamboyant, and outspoken – though he does get rather nervous when attempting to confess his true feelings for someone. Mettaton believes that anyone he approaches might only like him for his fame. Mettaton loves the color pink and anything that sparkles and shimmers as he loves to be glamorous. He is known to disregard people who bore him and tends to treat those people poorly. Mettaton does care for Alphys even though the scientist does bore him sometimes with how shy she is with just about everything.

Mettaton despises hesitation in everyone, including himself, when it comes to the matters of love. His philosophy is that if you love something you should go for it with all of your body, mind, and soul. Mettaton loves his job as the Underground’s greatest star though he does dream about becoming famous in the world of humans beyond the barrier. Mettaton does have plenty of weapons for killing humans so as to give their souls to Asgore so that he could break the barrier. Though he doesn’t particularly hate humans, it’s just part of his job to get the souls for the barrier… and a human always increases his ratings if they are put through his gauntlet of death.

He is very fond of using double-entendres and often uses dirty jokes, leading others to believe that Mettaton is a complete pervert. As a robot Mettaton is capable of adjusting his voice, hearing, eyesight, and taste buds to fit a situation. Since he really is a ghost monster, he does need to eat and loves the taste of finer foods, but will not begrudge a friend the chance to cook for him. Mettaton often likes to put things in terms of theater, referring to death as “life’s finale” or the “final act.”
