6/12/2016 - 23/8/2017I can relate to many Disturbed songs from their album Immortalized on so many levels, especially about one of the events in my life that have imprinted deeply into my mind.
One of the ones I will never forget.
This isn't a vent tho, I just got inspired and this recalled to me, so I had to do a thing with it.
Feels kinda nostalgic drawing Phoenix as a hedgewolf again, tho.
Can we make amends, do we just pretend
That we're over all the violence
Are we done with this? Put it all to rest
Turn the screams now into silence
Will you be a man? Can you make a stand?
Will you own up or deny it.
All the time we lost, was it worth the cost
Of breaking a family in two?
Destroyed all we knew

Can I clear my mind? Leave it all behind

There's so many things that I wanted to say

A tyrant's fate has already been quite well depicted with the tyrant killers in Greek art. At some point their system shatters, and then their crown and power are gone. Of course, having been in that while for 5 years, I do have a lot of build up frustration left. I probably act more like dragon breaking out of chains... pretty much willing to burn the one keeping my bound to ashes.
It is in any case, a fitting picture for the text inspiring it is rather fitting for the whole of the situation. Things are falling apart, damage has been done, and it was not easy for anyone involved. Though I guess ultimately most will move on with their newfound freedom as the tyranis is lying in pieces.

Deep words, dude. And yeah, it's been going on through history, when those people's system fails, they'll lose everything, sooner or later. It's like, hmm, a pillar that's responsible for holding the entire building steady. If that collapses then everything'll fall down.
I getcha, after I broke free from her I wasn't completely recovered in one day, it took a lot of time. So if y'have any frustration left, vent it to someone you know will listen. In my opinion it's completely okay to vent (but then it depends on other factors like how often you do it in public or if you sound like an attention seeker instead) so it's best to do it elsewhere, to someone that will lend ya an ear.
Thank you, and even tho the wounds are healed finally, you still can't forget it since basically it's done, and it took this big toll on your mind. It's a painful process when you had to get out of there (I bet we all know the feeling), but then knowing you're on your own again without anyone monitoring your every move, it'll be good.

Quite frankly, to her it was always that any form of vent is bad and that people always use it to seek attention. Having however interacted with people very different from myself, it would appear to be not as simple as she thinks. Art is visualized emotion and visualized thought, and people use it as a medium to cope with bad experiences.
In any regards, it is indeed precious to be free of those chains. I do hope that without her influence I can also bloom more as a writer on the website.

To her, venting is associated with sadness and ranting is associated with anger, which is, well not always the case as I know. Some can say "vent in anger", that also works and it makes sense to me.
Art is therapeutic as heck and I love to pour my emotions into most of the pictures I draw that tend to have deep meanings behind them (this one for example, haha). Sometimes I write or even come up with a poem (but the latter is super rare as I suck at poems hah XD)
I sure hope the same thing, man, now that you can write on your own will and be free with the ideas you have.

To be honest i really hope Actipton will manage to break the chains as she is a really cute, nice and kind person. Her LiveJournal is one of cutest and sweetest LJ i ever met because you read many nice and relaxing stories about her life. It is like her LJ transmits calm and relaxation. Nothing compared to dessie messy's LJ.
Dessie messy doesn't deserve to have such little gem. I will send you a note where i will show you a thing about Actiption.
