YES! This is Laila from "Juushin Enbu: Hero Tales".
I'm in love with this manga and its characters! I hope Arakawa-san will continue to draw it, and next month we'll be able to read new chapter after such a long break.

Laila is my favourite female character in Juushin Enbu. Chapter 19 was very dramatic and chapter 20 was really great. But I still can't believe that Housei is...
By the way, don't you know where can I read chapter 20 in English? I still can't find it, I saw only Spanish version. 
Well, I'm not sure about Laila's outfit. I haven't seen Arakawa's coloured drawings, so I was based on TV-series.

Taitou and Housei are my favourites, and I hope that Taitou will be alright. The end of chapter 20 is so breathtaking!

Waah, that would be really great*___* I especially want to have the conversation between Shoukaku and Chouka translated to see if I understood it right... When I read that in japanese I understood it that way, that Shoukaku is the same as Shimei oO Something like that...

But you're the first person except her who doesn't only read Fullmetal Alchemist and days she loves Arakawa-sama, but really all of her works^^ Others say they love her, but maybe just know one or two of her manga...

Really? Well, I won't deny that Fullmetal Alchemist was the first Arakawa's work I've read. Maybe it's because her other works have no Russian translation. Then I found Juushin Enbu and OMG! I fell in love with its characters and story. I hoped that it will be a "new Fullmetal Alchemist", but now it's over, too.

I read Fullmetal Alchemist first too^^ It's the only work of hers that's published in Germany and it has the anime too (which is also published in Germany (at least the first anime), so I had no other choice but read that firstXD Then I noticed an article about the Juushin Enbu anime and I immediately knew it was another Arakawa manga^o^ I then searched for it and also for other Arakawa-manga.., First I read Stray Dog then (also because of the advertise in chapter 1 from Fullmetal AlchemistXD) and loved it. Then I read Souten no Koumori and loved it>.< Then I read Juushin Enbu and adored it*____* That was 2008 I think... Well, Juushin Enbu had only 5 translated chapters then... oO But I couldn't find her other works>.< somehow I got my hands on Shanghai Youma Kikai then. I liked it, but it wasn't as great as the other manga^^ And sometime I found Raiden-18 and liked it just as much as Shanghai youma Kikai^^ Both of them just didn't leave that much impactXD
So, you hoped, Juushin Enbu will be a second Fullmetal Alchemist tooXD I hoped she would be adding such thrilling cliffhangers and then it comes totally different from what I thought it would come... But I predicted everything EVERYTHING right^^" I even predicted right what the others say about Taiga when they see themXD But it's over now and I can't find the last chapter, so I have to import the new Shonen Gangan again and then it's OVER
