The shading looks really nice. Maus is such a sad story, though I'm glad they both survived....They are such a sweet couple.

I think no matter how you cut it, it couldn't have been a really sappy ending... I mean, it's a holocaust story.

It's extremely sad that this couple got seperated and tortured by the Nazis (what a luck they both survived...until Anja commited suicide '68).
MAUS belongs to my all-time favourite book list but I also read the other stuff of Art Spiegelman like RAW when I can.

It is a magazine about "U-Comix" (underground comics). But it is not really made for children.
I have only one RAW, Number 8 from 1987 and not only the Spiegelman drawings but the other drawings, too kick ass! If you are interested in U-Comix go check RAW at least once
