I felt like doodling a foxfan and this lovely is one of my favorite fans and he was on my mind. So he became my test subject. Because I'm not very good at drawing ferals, so it's always good practice to just stress-free doodle ferals.Gift for Floofurr of her foxfan Yggdrasil ♥
I was worried about drawing his fan cause... you know... trees xD But I actually had a harder time drawing his necklace honestly.

For saying you're not good at ferals this is pretty amazing! You nailed all the details wonderfully, even if they were a challenge, and I really like the pose and proportions! I hope we can art trade sometime, as I would love to see you draw my Foxfan :'D

I'm taking some time off commission work over the last part of March, and all of April, so they work for me! I know it's a little in advance but don't want to promise anything quicker than I can deliver!

So you'd want to do the art trade sometime March/April? Or after that? Lol either way I don't really mind. And I can always draw Fleet for you and you do your part whenever you feel most comfortable doing it. As you've noticed I'm fairly patient when it comes to art trades or commissions. I just like to check in once in a while if it's been a long period of time. ^^

His necklace is basically just a braided rope or vine o3o the pendant itself is an actual real pendant I own, I should take a picture of it sometime so people can use it as a reference or something xD It's super pretty, I bought it because it made me think of Yggdrasil from Norse Mythology with all the pretty little stones sitting in the branches.

I figured it's a braided rope or vine but for some reason it was so difficult for me. It's probably because I draw braids differently than what his looks like. So it was a bit of a challenge haha
And that is so cool! I always think it's fun to include things you have irl in character designs cause it adds some personality and can help with connecting with the character. You should get a picture of it to help with drawing it. Really the pendant wasn't too much of an issue. The only problem was it's a tree which is always a challenge for me Lol
