So its about Time to do another redesign project. Hehe its about Time, see what I did there? So yes its a redesign project for Crash Bandicoot, I juuuuust love that Game. That is my kind of Hero, dumb as bread and not even aware hes being a Hero because its just fun to kick some Evil Doctors Butt... and because hes after some Booty, come on that was the Plot of the First game. So anyway this project started out as a simple redesign because I intend to build all the masks, as you can see in „The Forge“ Folder of my DA Gallery, I already have build Aku Aku and Uka Uka and I intend to complete my collection. But some of the Masks are just... ugly, I mean The Wrath of Cortex mask design was so bland, uninspiring, boring and just ugly. So I just had to completely redesign the Elementals so they're worth building. And then I though, a heck why dont I just put them in my Gallery too? And while Im uploading teh Masks, maybe if you like and comment (seriously I love comments) I might add even more redesigns like uhm what if Crash changed Costumes while traveling through Time in Crash Bandicoot Warped, so maybe I could draw a prehistoric Cave Bandicoot, a Medieval Crash Knight or a Scifi Crash Space Warrior. You get my drift? Or just me drawing the characters in my style. You tell me what you would like to see. Also you may see I experimented with a new coloration and some textures. Tell me if you like it. So lets get started...

Hundreds of years after the creation of the Mask of protection Aku Aku, the Mask of Power Uka Uka and the Four Elementals there were no more magical Masks. But certainly many many adventures as Aku Alu found a new apprentice and Family to take care of, just like Uka Uka found a new Minion to torment and use. Even the Elementals had a short cameo somewhere down the Line. Many battles between good and evil were fought, Aku Akus apprentice always stood up to Uka Ukas Minion and his Army. But one day something entirely unexpected happened. An Alien named Nitros Oxide came to Earth in order to race the Earths Champions. For the first Time in ages Aku Aku and Uka Uka had to cooperate once more in order to protect the Earth and so they did, the Alien Racer was beaten and he fled from Earth.

But his Master, the Race obsessed King, Emperor Velo XXVII, of an entire Planet heard of his loss and wanted to see if those Earthan racers truly were as good as he was told. But unlike last time Aku Aku and Uka Uka did not cooperate, this was a three way battle between Aku Aku and his Apprentice and Family, Uka Uka and his Minion and Army and the Racers of Emperor Velo. The Rules of the coming races were simple, there barely were any, so like before Aku Aku and Uka Uka could occasionally enter the race to protect their own Racers from harm. Now Velo was intrigued by those Masks and their Power so he called upon a Racer that was similar to the culture that those masks came from, Krunk from Planet Terra. Krunk had to see the Masks for himself and so he challenged first Team Cortex, which served Uka Uka, and was beaten, but those Racers were mean spirited and bad winners, actually he saw a lot of Velo within them. Krunk was hurt in his Pride and shaken in his belief in his Emperor. But then he raced against Team Crash, the team lead by Aku Aku, and those racers treated him with respect, seeing that he was hurt in his Pride by loosing, the Teams captain made Krunk a present of an Earthan Toy. Krunk was moved, such a noble spirit, such Honor, it reminded him of why he was a race Driver to begin with.

Krunk declined his Emperors wishes, to honor his opponents he was not gonna recreate their Power for a Monster like Velo. But still he was intrigued and spoke with Aku Aku. He promised he would never do this for Velo, but his people deserved a protector so they could be free of Velo and his influence, once Racing was a fun sport but Velo made it a Battle for survival. Aku Aku understood and explained how he was born to be a protective Mask. Krunk understood what was needed, but he was hesitant, afraid of the Price that such a Ritual needed, they had no Gods, his Peoples highest being was Velo and right after him Krunk. But Velo was a monster and a liar as well as they soon found out Velo was no different from the rest of his Kind, his hulking form was nothing but a robotic suit created by Geary of Teknee.

But Geary now had a new creation, the Artificial mask of Velo Velo, a Thing much more dangerous than the original Velo, after Velos secret was revealed the mask started to take over his Empire and Krunk saw that this Emperor would be much worse than the original. So in order to protect he had no other way. Krunk did the Ritual as Aku Aku had explained it to him and he tore his own soul from his body to seal it within the mask, the protector of his Home world of Terra from the new Threat of Velo Velo, and his Name was Jura Jura.
