OBJECTION!
If we look at Chara's monologue again, it said they were confused. Which means WE taught THEM to be evil. WE corrupted Chara! WE told them that it's all about power. I don't think you read it all. Also, it's pretty stupid to blame Chara for our own sins. We chose to kill, we, the players! We made them believe that was the right thing.
Chara's been always there, no matter which run we took. Even in Pacifist, for who else do you think the narrator is? Please read carefully what it says.

You do realize that the saveloadreset page is entirely headcanon, right? That means it's not necessarily true. As a matter of fact, it's most likely not going to be true. Now, granted, it does make a great theory, but that's all that it is; a theory.
Nothing that we, the players and fans, can come up with, no matter how likely, unless confirmed by Toby Fox, they won't be true.

So does the fact that Chara is a simple murder child - just a theory. And one the people agreed to fast. However if people were more aware of THAT headcanon and figured out the mysteriousness of the narrator, then there might have been a different view. Sadly, that's not the case. Everyone seems easier to handle their choices by blaming on the first person they get to throw theor sins to: Chara.
