A recent pet portrait commission, a memorial of the clientβs beloved horse who they always dreamed of riding on the beach with but was never able to. Now having lost her, they wanted me to depict her galloping happily along the beach. I used my iPad Pro entirely for this portrait as I needed the portability.Artwork(c)Kuvari

takes me back, Veracruz, summer of '68, just my horse & I, bareback, galloping south until the sun was directly overhead, turn around and head back in time for the shrimp boats to return... steamed shrimp & Dos-XX - best three weeks of my life
