I recently moved to Japan and one of the first things I did was buying this edition of Illustration when I happened to stumble across it and recognize your artwork. Really pretty stuff. Love the calendar and can't wait for 2018.

I don't really have more words than that, but this resonates within me for some reason. A mix of nostalgia, hope, and regrets... I love it.

The first thing I felt from this picture was a sense of warmth.
The slight blush on her face, as wind grazes her hair in this all white space, draws out feelings of a coming winter. And the open jacket adds to that reading.
Whether I'm on point about the intent, or off by a mile, that's what I get from it.
Out of curiosity, was this piece slotted as November on that calendar?
