I've been doing touhou fanarts at a rate of about once a month now, maybe it'll be a regular thing?
I changed up my methods again, using the lasso tool to do the base colours. It definitely saved a lot of time, since I don't have to spend so much cleaning up my colour work. Also in this piece I tried for a more detailed background, which isn't really as difficult as it may seem.
This piece also made for a pretty good desktop background, so I enabled downloads in case you guys would like it too!

Koishi and Marisa! Both of which I've drawn already

Yea I actually did see the Marisa one! I'll look for the other touhous soon enough!
And Koishi huh? I feel she's become a bit more popular cuz of Hopeless Masquerade. I must admit her running animation is easily the cutest thing in that game!
As for me... if I had to condense it to two characters... Its so hard. I really do like Tewi quite a bit... hm maybe I'll throw Tenshi in there. She's the first one I thought of right now and I feel she's a bit underrated. I also main her in UNL.

Oh well SWR and UNL are really good! IAMP is... ok for what it was? But I couldn't really get into it. And the two newer fighting ones, HM and ULIL are both pretty good, rehauling the older system, though personally I think UNL is the best, it'd be nice if they did another UNL-like game, mechanics wise, but with HM/ULIL graphics. (ULIL had the overall best set of characters, and you should try that one or HM if only to see how adorable Koishi's run animation is!)
As for the main series, I played pretty much all of them up to Ten Desires. I didn't play any after that but I really should!

The way she looks at the screen almost makes it look like you are out in the cold yourself and just happen to come across the stronges-I mean, the fairy.
Normally I'd say it's dangerous, but as long as you stand right in front of her she's bound to miss all the shots.Β Β
Really beautiful shading. I like the broken pieces of snow and iceΒ further down in the background, also gives me the impression that the winter may be soon coming to a close and these are the first signals of spring... Or maybe not if this is around the time of PCB!Β Β
