i love the elfquest comics and have been a fan for a good 20 years i was inspired to do this drawing after getting back into the comic recently. i had not read them for years and am now readdicted. bearclaw and joyleaf of course parents of cutter the main hero of the story are purched on a stone in front of a full moon. i tried to capture the passion that is elfquest with this oneRelated content

that's ok i realize i have alot going on in this piece. i'm still a rank amature in the coloring department, i should probably just stick to line art where my specialtly lies. i hope after you took a closer look at it you did enjoy the piece though

quick question ... when you ink what kind of materials do you use?

honestly ? i use a 0.7 mm pentel mechanical pencil i draw pretty darkly with it. i gain the dark inked look to my work my xeroxing my drawings it crisps them up and gives them an inked look.
