I saw this picture: [link] and absolutely fell in love with the style. i decided to make my own, but i didn't want to do a portal one and feel like i was copying the picture, and i didn't feel like doing an anime character either. So I chose one of my favorite movies, Sucker Punch. ITS SO COOL AND THE GRAPHICS WERE AMAZING AND THE STORY LINE WAS TRAGICALLY BEAUTIFUL!!! I used the movie poster as the reference: [link] . i decided not to do the background, cuz the person alone took about 2 hours @_@. my fingers are cramped from cutting such tiny pieces. the full figure is about 11 inches long, from the top of her head to her leg... stubs...
stupid glue kept on sticking to my fingers and made some parts ugly and discolored D:<. originally, the rope aross her chest was going to be more braid like, but it never turned out right and kept falling apart. my favorite parts are her hair, the sash-tie thing, and her hand, cuz i cant draw realistic hands for my life, yet apparently i can cut them out of paper free-handed. the paper i used was watercolored paper, except the skin, thats just construction paper
