Yeah definitely! It's been really awesome watching you develop as an artist, gives me hope that maybe I'll improve just as much eventually XD

Wow, thank you so much, Sia, I really appreciate the awesome comment.
Of course I will, I'm sure he'll be very happy to hear that. If he asks, I'll have to show him some of your awesome work. And you really need to see some of his much better pictures. He recently did a Kakashi and a Rock Lee that honestly, I wish I could do as well. He used a bit of charcoal in one and some spray paint on the other, and he's such a perfectionist with his drawings, it's clear in his usual work.
I'm sure he'll really like your style; he's a big admirer to color work.
Thanks. Although it's only because of all the awesome support I get here on DA. I wouldn't have done half of the drawings I've posted if it weren't for all of the amazing artists giving such encouragement, support, and advice to me. I just wish I could do something for you guys as thanks.
Yeah, she's only in one Wii game that's known mostly to fans and curious gamers exclusively. Not too many people would, which is the same for "Last Story", which I'm hoping to do a drawing for all 7 of the main characters soon.(after I get my current to-draw list under control, that is).
I don't blame you, really. I never can get the angle just right, it's always off by at least a little bit!
Yeah, she does dress to impress. She's a princess, after all.

Thanks.
Yeah, but I want to. I know he'll really like your art. He's a big art appreciator. He'll cross his arms, put his hand on his chin all sophisticated-like and he'll analyze the pros and cons of everyone's style. It helps give him future tips, I think.
Yeah, he did a great job on them.
That'd be pretty neat. Airbrushing is amazingly difficult.
I tried it recently, not too pretty, lol.
Let's see, there's Last Story (also really realistic), Shining Force EXA, Tales of the Abyss, Kingdom Hearts, Naruto Shippuden Clash of Ninja Revolution 3, I used to have Bleach; Shattered Blade, but I really want to get another copy. I've also got Naruto Ultimate Ninja 3, but I think that's about it.
Thank you!

^-^
haha that's great! I tend to look at an artwork and tilt my head abit before just
staring at it for ages!..
Ive never tried airbrushing so I wouldn't know...how does it work?
haha wow that's a lot!...(says the non gamer..) Do you play often?
Once I really like a game I tend to become obsessed, but of course i lack the skills
and practice to actually get very far. which just means I stay on for even longer trying
to achieve some goal i set for myself!>.<

I just like to analyze the piece. I take a look at the pencil and brush work, the over-all style, and then the finer details (such as anatomy, angle, coloring scheme, shading, etc.). I'm always thinking "is there anything in this piece I can remember for my next drawing?"
I'm also starting to ask people about tips and techniques more often. Most of the time, they don't really know what to tell me, but there are also a lot of people who are eager to explain the problem, the solution, and how I can practice implementing it into my style.
A----------------------H___L__B_
Well, it's basically using a metal pen with 3 stand-out features. A hose attached to the back(H), a metal bulb on the top-front(B), and a lever near the middle, where you hold it(L). The hose hooks up to an air pressure machine(A) and the paint goes inside the metal bulb(B) on top of the tip.
The lever lets you control the air-to-paint ratio. Push down on the button/lever for the air and pull back on it for the paint to come out.
The hard part is keeping a steady hand and figuring out how much paint you want and how hard you want the pen to blast it on.
He's gotten really good at it and he's drawn all of these pictures all over the walls in his and his wife's rec-rooms. Things like lightning, Superman, graffiti art words, dark clouds, Hello Kitty, and white hearts, lol. It's really neat.
Well, I have phases. Some weeks, I might play for at least a little while every day. (If not ALL day some days) Other weeks, I might not play at all because I try to keep busy and productive. I used to be a big video-game addict around 5 or 6 years ago, but I got over that quite a while ago. Now, it all depends on my free time and availability.
Uh, I know the feeling. You just want to get one thing done that seems fairly do-able, but no matter how many tries you give it, it seems impossible!
And what's worse is when you DO get it, if it's a complete accident that you could never ever repeat in a million years!
There are a few games that I just left and only try again once every few years because it's so difficult.
When I'm with some of my friends, we play a lot of video games. It's usually 60-90 percent of what we do. Now, I have a few friends who prefer card games, drawing, or movies. It all depends on the day, the plans, and what they're in the mood for.

Fair enough, I tend to think about the themes more in the artwork and colour schemes....but also the things that you mentioned^-^ I don't ask about advice a lot actually now that I think about it...
Oh wow that all sounds really complicated...or at least incredibly hard for beginners, I'm sure it just becomes second nature for
some after a while...
ah that sounds really cool! there are a lot of people in my art class that are interested in graffiti and tattoo art...not something that I would do, but I still think theyre amazing artist!
oh okay. Time would be a big factor in how often someone can play.
YES! I also manage to find some glitches in games, where I might be on a road somewhere and next thing I know I managed to appear on the roof of a building and have no idea how I managed it>.< Or finding certain areas in the game where i can just walk through the walls..theyre always fun to findXD
The difficulty of a game is really important to me. If its too easy it just doesnt seem as fun, but the minute its too hard, I stop playing often, maybe even at all-.-'
none of my really close friends are that into games, we tend to just sit and talk or go for walks somewhere...

You should ask more often. The worst they can tell you is "no" or "i don't know".
Really? It's fairly easy to use once you kinda feel of it in your hand and experiment a little, but to make anything that looks half way decent, it does take A LOT of practice.
Yeah, tattoos aren't for me, but it takes an amazing artist to create them.
And Graffiti does have its place every now and then, I suppose.
Yeah, glitches are great, especially when you have to restart the game because they won't let you move, lol. I get that more often than the really cool ones.
There was one I came across recently that if you jumped off a certain spot on a ledge, you kept falling endlessly in black space until you shut the game off.
Yeah, I agree. A game that's too easy kills brain cells and a game that's too hard seems like it was designed just to tick people off, lol.
You really have to find that medium of fun and challenging both at the same time.
Sitting and talking can be so nice, though. And a walk with a friend is SO relaxing. It helps you have good communication and you get to know them really well that way.
I do those kinds of thing quite often, as well.

KyceSilverFalcon In reply to SialeGirl [2013-03-30 00:54:37 +0000 UTC]
And of course, you can ask me anything you'd like.
Agreed. And I can only imagine, they're using a needle! *shivers*
Oh yeah, it takes a lot of talent to do some really good graffiti, it can just get kinda old and monotone feeling after a while, I think. Too many bright colors and complicated designs can bore the brain, ironically enough.
I also like playing competitive games like chess, fighting games (appropriate ones, that is) and other strategy or real-time games.
It usually doesn't take too long for me to get good at a game. That's something some of my friends find incredibly annoying. We'll both try a new game, and they always want to know if I've played it before. I just jump in, do my best, and take lots of hopefully lucky guesses.
And it's so great, especially when you can walk somewhere with some really pretty scenery.
Ah, when me and my best friend, the artist who wishes to remain un-named, get together, his wife always rolls her eyes and smiles because we'll go on and on about animes and she has no clue what we're talking about.
Every now and then she might ask something like "what in the world is an Ichy Money-go Sharing gun?(Itachi mangekyo sharingan, lol)"
For guys, we sure fangirl a lot, though, lol.
Although even though I don't really mean to, I end up doing most of the talking sometimes.

Well, that is, if I can help with anything.
Yeah, when you get a tattoo, it's pretty much permanent. Combine that with a fear of needles, and I'm never getting a tattoo. Ever, lol.
Definitely agreed. They all do look quite similar from time to time.
I have a friend who's only about 13 who's the same way, as well. He kinda grew up on video games, and as a result, we have a bit of a rivalry. Although he's a joy to have around and is very mature for his age.
Lol, table tennis can be a VERY involved and competitive sport. I've seen it, too.
I've never been really good at any sport, but I always try to do something, at least.
That sounds really nice. Australia is a place I've always wanted to visit at some point. Not really the first place most people would choose for a vacation spot, but. I would probably go during the summer, though. Your winter. I like the cold much better than heat. During the winter, do you get any snow?
lol Yeah, that pretty much describes it. Although ironically enough, my mom really likes animes. She's an otaku, too.
The same thing happened to me at school. They were all watching AMV's and fights on YouTube.
Agreed.

you might at some point^-^
Yeah, if you ever want to get it off, doesnt it involve even more pain and needles>.<
Me neither!...I dont even want my ears pierced>.< But thats because I just see it as something that
would annoy me...
These day everyone is pretty familiar with electronical devices and it all happened so fast! Everything is moving fast, from fashion, music etc. and apparently the recent generations have shorter attention spans and tend to multi task a lot more. In a comparison between a teenager and an elderly man, they were told to research some topic. While the older man searched a lot more sources, the teenager pretty much looked up one or two websites just to look up the answer then stopped. It showed that we become more contempt with less detailed and in depth answers in comparison. Which is kind of worrying....Whats even sadder was sitting in class and having to listen to the teacher explain what an index was in a book for those people that didnt know...sorry my little rant that didnt make sense
It can! Ive been to some competitions. The guys were terrifying! and the girls seemed to know all these fancy tricks!>.< First comp. I came third out of four..and the other team we beat were pretty much on my side anywayXD the second time I tried though we almost one! So I improved at least!
Im not too bad at hockey and have been told that I should take it up...but wont...I use to try out a LOT of different sports when I was younger, but I will never get over my fear of a soccer ballXD I really dont like soccer>.< I havent played anything in years actually..unless you count PE at school...which Ive stopped now-.- I was thinking about taking up self defence...but I think I should find a job first...
Its really nice!! I agree! Cold is much more bearable! we do up in the mountains, depending where you go of course, further down in Australia, youre more likely to get snow, cause it gets a lot colder.
oh that's cool!
haha that's so great!! I made an anime fan not too long ago and found out she cosplays!! I was so happy!!XD

Or some painful laser surgery.
That's a pretty neat decision, I think. So do you use the clip-on earrings or do you prefer no earrings at all?
I love my sister to death, but she has this huge fascination with things like tattoos and piercings. She's pierced her ears and her nose already. She wants to pierce her lip, too. She's had her tongue pierced before, but it was too annoying, even for her, so it isn't anymore. I wouldn't be surprised if she wanted to get a tattoo when she turns 18 one bit. And no matter how much it disturbs me, it's ultimately between her and her mother, I know. I've told her that I don't understand it and she knows what it involves and the possible regrets/risks that go with all of it.
She's even dyed her hair all the colors of the rainbow. She seems to be sticking with purple for now, but that doesn't bother me so much.
But I'm with you.- I don't want any tattoos, piercings, or anything else of the sort. Ever. >.<
I know what you mean. It has gotten bad. After school, kids always have their eyes glued to their cell phones, texting and such. I don't even have a cell phone of my own yet, but I see elementary students with I-phones everywhere. It's like a dangerous epidemic. People can't live or leave the house without their electronics. Now, they do have a lot of purpose and use. They definitely can save lives and be a big help. But usually, people are just way too enthralled in it all.
I couldn't agree more, kids are becoming less and less dependable and a lot less..... well, smart. I remember in 8th grade, I still had lots of kids asking me how to spell the days of the week. And it's not that they are stupid, they just sell themselves short, don't bother learning anything, and doom themselves to a lack of knowledge and know-how. And it's only gonna get worse. We definitely haven't hit the bottom yet.
I know I haven't really broached this subject too much before, but where do you stand in regards to religion? You don't seem to me like the type of person to be an atheist, but I might be wrong.
Really? That's pretty cool. I've always wanted to at least try table tennis. I would probably be not-so-good at it, especially at first, but I'll bet it'd be fun!
I can relate. I was really pushed by my school coaches (and even coaches from other schools) to join basketball and especially football. I don't even think they cared that I've never really played much, they would have been determined to teach me one way or the other.
Why did you stop PE?
Self defense? What did you have in mind? Martial arts, or just basic defensive maneuvers? You might do best with that and a can of pepper spray. I've even seen a battery-powered tazer that looked like a pink lip-gloss container.
I might just mention- other than in the movies, I've never heard of anyone escaping from dangerous situations with martial arts (no matter how cool they may look!), but I've heard of multiple situations where basic self defense and pepper spray have really helped. I actually know of a few people with stories like that.
Now, I know that every place in the world has crime, but is it really bad where you live?
Oh, that's awesome! I'm really thinking about buying a soul reaper costume from "Bleach".

yeah>.<
I just dont wear any earnings at all. It just feels kinda weird...
Oh yeah, I have some friends that are like that as well. I remember a bunch of girls went through a phase where they
all went and got their bellybutton pierced which I thought was a bit odd...especially since there were at least ten of them as
a group that did it around the same time...I know someone that got a tattoo pretty early on...I think she must have been..14..15? when she got it...
Though a friend of mine dyes her hair so often and always in really different colours, which was a big change from the long blond hair she had earlier on...but she got REALLY good at it and looks really cool in my opinion!^-^
yeah! walking around places or just going shopping, you see a lot of people with head phones in their ears and not interacting with anyone around them, which I think is really sad..later we're going to find that deafness will be more common, of it isn't already.
Oh that's bad! I know a few people that are actually pretty smart! But they choose not to do the work and because of that they find later things a bit more difficult than others, even though they are perfectly capable of it. With more an more technology coming out at an incredibly fast rate people are becoming more dependant and no longer HAVE to do most chores. Obesity is becoming a lot more common and I think I heard somewhere that woman may actually be getting larger due to less house work, with the dishwashers, washing machines, driers etc.
What do you mean? As in what's my opinion in all religions? Or whether I have a religion and my opinion on that?...I'm Christian and don't really mind much for other religions though. I have so many friends with different religions and faiths which I actually think is pretty cool!^-^ I had a massive gap in my life where I wasn't going to church for a quite a few years, but have started going again and have made some really nice friends and enjoyed it a lot^-^
Ah! You should try it sometime!! Its heaps of fun in my opinion!
Oh really? that's cool! You said you were really tall, was that one of the reasons? A friend of mine is amazing at basketball but it really short compared to the othersXD Do you think your good at basketball and football though?...and did you join?
I needed more time to study other subjects that might help me get a good job^-^
Im not really sure...Its more to prove a point to myself and learn something new than anything else though...I have never even seen or heard of someone I know carrying pepper spray, let a lone a tazer! I think the police are the only ones with permission to use them here...though I could be wrong..
Its not really bad in Australia compared to the rest of the world and not where I live either^-^ The most that's happened to me and my family is had our house broken into while we were away, but they didnt take anything, it seemed they just needed a place to stay the night. Nothing was damaged, the worse they did was mess up a few drawers i think...the neighbours said they heard a party though so I wonder how many there wereO_O But I was little and didnt even know until the police came just to make sure everything was okay and to have it noted....
Oh really!??? That's so cool!!! Friends of mine have been giving me little things for a naruto cosplay, so I have kuni knives and the headband so farXD Though I read the most recent chapters just yesterday and I have so many mixed feelings about it all!!

Well that's pretty cool. I don't think it would be such a great revelation if I said that I feel the same way about earrings, lol.
I don't know though, a lot of guys really like wearing those smaller earrings. Kinda like Shikamaru and Choji.
That DOES sound kinda weird, actually. The only time I remember someone getting their bellybutton pierced was when my older ex-sister-in-law was visiting from England. She got it done in the mall, and I remember thinking it was really strange and kinda gross at the time. And I was like "What?!? People actually do that? Why?! Doesn't it really hurt?" O.O
I'd guess I was around 7 or 8 at the time.
Wow, 14 or 15? That's just crazy.
Yeah, she kinda looks like an anime character sometimes, so I think it's kinda cool, too. Oh, now that I think about it, she has a Facebook, and I'm positive she won't mind if I show you her page. My sister's very kind and extremely social.
But I will warn you, she uses questionable language and she does talk about inappropriate things on her page....
But anyway, this is what she looked like originally-[link]
The first time she dyed her hair, I think it was black-[link]
Her and her mom have A LOT of cats!-[link]
And her profile picture now-[link]
Also, just in case you look around, there might be a few photos of me on there. Most of them are at least 2 years old, and it's awful, but it seems like people only post pictures of me with a goofy smile or an atrocious hairstyle! So please, don't laugh too much if you happen to see pictures of "her brother".
Now, I walk around with at least one headphone in my ear every now and then, but I never became non-social or despondent because of it. And if I'm talking to someone, they're put away and turned off. I have them on low volume so I know what's going on, and I still nod, wave, and chat with people. So I guess you could say I'm partially guilty of that. Speaking of deafness, that really goes for those people who put the base all the way up! They shake the whole neighborhood when they drive by in their cars!
Well, most of them were really smart, but they didn't know it themselves! They much preferred to be the cool, tough guys.
I don't know about yourself, but I personally never much liked school. I never did homework, projects, and I never once studied. But I would still pass because I did my in-school work and I made high test scores. Geewiz and I have talked a little bit about it, but whereas I love to learn, I do not like the way school does things. Kids are apathetic about schoolwork, so instead of making it more fun and a tad bit easier, they decide to put more pressure and stress on the students. It's counter-productive, I've seen it first hand.
Yes, see, America is just one big problem spot, so we get A LOT of reports and stories like that. And no one wants to or even likes exercise.
Ah, that's pretty neat. I know I've mentioned the Bible before, but you had never said anything, so I wouldn't have guessed. Actually, I talk to a lot of people from different religions all the time. It's very interesting.
Although I don't really go to a church, I go to Kingdom Halls. I wouldn't be surprised if you'd seen one before.
But as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, I volunteer several times each week to go door to door, talking about the Bible with them. You hear a lot of different opinions and there are a lot of people who are violent or aggressive towards us, but we also have lots of really great conversations that make it all worth it.
Yes, it does. I really have no talent for either one, but because of my height, I was really pushed to do it.
No, I'm not especially good at either one, but it didn't matter to them.
I told the all pretty much the same thing- that I already had several after-school activities, I wasn't a sporty kind of person, and that I much preferred doing other things. Stuff like that. I wouldn't have enjoyed any of them very much, really.
Ah, I understand.
Ok, I get ya. That's the best of reasons, then!
And actually, I can't even imagine that. We're legally allowed to have guns if we have a license, we are more than allowed to have a tazer as long as we're over 18, and I think pepper spray is allowed for anyone so long as they're not at a school or business zone.
Australia sounds so great the more I hear! Like I said earlier, America is just one big problem spot for people. Fast food, obesity, teenagers with trouble, crimes of all sorts, drugs, general anger, you name it and we've got way too much of it. And where I live, it's quite dangerous at night.
I don't want to scare anyone, but as the facts go: In the past year, we've had several armed robbery shootings nearby. Fortunately, no one was killed in any of them from what I heard. But we've also had 2 or 3 people just in a mile or so from our house who were shot and killed in big misunderstandings. Just down the street someone was stabbed in a fight last year. I think that we'll be fine, but it still doesn't change how things are where we live.
And your story, wow, that's just crazy. They broke in, but didn't take anything? That's....... unimaginable. I'm really glad that you've grown up in an area with such a low crime rate.
Oh, that's awesome. Even if you didn't post it on DA, I'd love to see when you get the whole cosplay put together.
I just really like the robes and Hiyoris they wear in Bleach. They look really neat and quite comfy to me.
Hmmmm, I'm really thinking about keeping up with both the manga and the anime, cuz I just know so much is happening!

wow so much!O_O
haha Some guys actually look pretty good in them too( like Shikamaru and Choji!)
Oh well if you were that young than that's a fair enough reaction! A lot of people in the art class I'm taking have
a million piercings on their face and dyed hair, with interesting fashion sense. Some take drugs and smoke as well which I
dont find too pleasant...but they're great at art and can be nice...manners may be necessary for some though..
Yeah I couldn't believe it either!
wow she looks really cool with her hair like that! I dont have facebook though and have no idea how to use it so no chance
of me finding photos of you...which I find kind of disappointing. I'm interested to know what you look like! and I'm sure the photos of you werent that bad! and as for the inappropriate language, I read some and didnt really understand a word of itXD
No that's fine. But Ive gone for walks up this mountain with my mum and her friend and seen a dad with both headphone in and his kid on his back. I though the poor kid looked pretty miserable and bored and figure the dad could at least try and talk to him...
Yes!! my old neighbours use to have music up really loud everyday and the base would just be shaking the windows-.-' thankfully it never happened at night though so I was able to sleep
yeah that sounds like a few people I know...
I know! Personally I love school, it keeps me sane cause I would have nothing to do at home. Its also a great place to meet and talk with people. But I agree, the way the school systems are set the grades matter more than the actually learning which isn't beneficial to anyone! There are different methods and ways to teach. Some include self guided lessons, but the student may then miss out on important information that is needed due to strict guidelines. Other methods are just to sit and listen to the teacher rant on...The students become too focused and pushed towards, doing great things and obtaining decent jobs. But where did the dreams of children go, when we once said that we wished to be an astronaut or a police man? The fun and fascination for learning new things became stressful and boring making school in general a place associated with these negative feeling, when really we should be studying what interests us in order to get a job we'll be happy with.
Ive heard a lot of things about that, and the gun laws..
I guess I just didnt really know what to say
I have to say you have to be pretty brave to be one of Jehovah's witnesses especially there in america( read ahead in the message..). Ive had one guy come to my house once, but we didnt get a chance to talk cause I was just about to leave...While there would be a lot of people who dont really agree with Christian beliefs and can be a bit aggressive about it, Im sure the conversations you do have would be worth it!^-^
Oh...do you have a particular sport that you really like?
The laws are very different over there! The only real guns Ive seen were on a farm and they need them for their job. I have a few friends who have gone out to areas where they shoot targets and stuff with different guns, but I really know nothing about them...actually one of my friends is OBSESSED with guns and weapons! he's got a gas mask for Christmas once...he's really nice and wouldn't heart a fly though! The gun laws here are incredibly strict though. Im sure someone could get in trouble if they're found carrying a pocket knife in certain areas! spray painting cans arent aloud to be sold to people under 18 and all cigarette packets are incredibly expensive with disturbing photos of lung cancer and stuff on them. There have been a lot of attempts to reduce these sorts of things and bad decisions. Especially in school educations!
Australia is pretty great! Though as soon as my friend came over from Colombia she was told about all the poisonous snakes, crocodiles, sharks, jelly-fish etcXD Made her a bit nervous but in the end she loved it here before she had to go back!
That sounds terrible!! Of course there are crimes and trouble here in Australia but honestly compared to what Ive heard overseas, I feel really lucky about where I live and how Ive manage to avoid all those sorts of troubles.
Yeah they didnt take a thing! I found it hard to believe as well but thats what happened!
If it ever happensXD I saw people with Naruto cosplay at my school not too long ago which was amazing! For us it was international happy day, so the students were able to dress up and I saw so many different characters it was amazing!
I agree they do look comfortable!^-^
I had a look at the anime and its so different to the manga!! I dont know how you would be able to keep up with both!!

Well, by the time you go to high school, you kinda have to expect that, unfortunately.
Although I had that sort of thing all through middle school. Not the fashion, but the drugs, definitely.
Manners? What's that? No one uses those nowadays!
She does.
Ah, I didn't know that. I have a facebook, but I've never been able to stand being on it more than once a week. I usually only get on about once every few months, but mostly to check up on family. I really don't like Facebook much at all, though.
Yeah, I wonder what some people here on DA look like, too.
But, uh, trust me. They're bad. I don't know why I liked keeping my hair the way I did back then. Makes no sense to me whatsoever, now. It looked like a curly afro. And on a Caucasian, that just looks weird. I like to keep my hair fairly short now. I get it cut at least every 3-4 months now. I only let it just start to get long enough for curls and bangs to form, now.
Let's see. I can tell you, I've never once been fat, but for years now, I could definitely be described as big. Not just for height, and I'll admit any day that it's not all muscle, either, but I eat very healthy and I exercise regularly. I mean, I clean a warehouse for one of my jobs, for goodness sake. I have a lot of older folks telling me things like "Such a handsome young man!", but other than that, I've never been known for looks. Although I was planning on having one or two Deviant ID pics uploaded, just to add to the page and give people a general idea of what I look like and dress like.
Yeah, people only usually remember these things about me- tall, Hawaiian T-shirts, shorts and sandals (even in the Winter time), as well as a fedora. Now, that's how I usually dress, but I do have some old English paper boy/golf style hats I wear sometimes. And I do have one over shirt that isn't Hawaiian that I wear from time to time. It's a bit boring, but it looks nice.
And when I don't wear anything like that, I'm dressed in suit-type clothing. Suit jacket, dress pants, ties, and stuff like that.
Unfortunately, I do most times. *face palm and shakes head*
But I just try to ignore it, or not read it in the first place.
Yeah, I feel for the little kid. It's sad to see that in even a parent.
Yeah, where we live, we used to get that almost every day. "Brrrrrr Brrrr, Buh-VVVVVVVVVVV! BRRR-BUMP!", lol
That was a good thing, at least. We had the biggest problems with it around anywhere from 9-1 in the morning.
Had to call the cops for a general patrol.
Well, if they keep safe, they usually make it out ok, fortunately.
Hey, if that's the way you feel, school actually does a lot of good for some people. I just wasn't one of them, myself. I know what you mean, though. Keeps you from just wandering around the house finding stuff to do.
I couldn't agree more with all of that.
Now, it's become a desperately and pathetic struggle for boring desk jobs. Over here, if you know how to work a tractor, it's a very valuable skill, and I don't even live in the farm areas of the state!
Everyone's so focused on college and becoming doctors/lawyers/etc., that none of the really high-paying jobs involving work, heavy machinery and all that have no support. It's very sad.....
Yeah, I'd much prefer to just learn about lots of interesting science facts I happen across in every-day life.
I understand. Yeah, it does take a bit of standing out in a crowd, but it's definitely well worth it for me. Being afraid, whether it be of people or beasts or circumstances, has never been a problem for me. I don't scare easily by those sorts of things. If I didn't work on my stubbornness, I'd be one of those "challenge the world!" kinda people.
I live in the Bible belt, so I don't meet too many people who don't believe in the Bible all that often.
I mostly talk to them about what the Bible says about the false doctrines of "The Trinity"(John 17:3, Matthew 28:19, Colossians 1:15&16, John 14:28), of "all good people going to heaven (Psalms 37:29, Revelation 21:3-4, Isaiah 65:20-23) and all bad people going to hell" as well as the belief that people have immortal souls (Genesis 3:19, Ecclesiastes 9:5, Ezekiel 18:4, Romans 6:23), of the Bible's description of the "last days" and of how it relates to today (Matthew 24:3-14, 24:37-39, 2 Timothy 3:1-7), as well as what God's name is (Psalms 83:18). And I show them several scriptures in their own Bible about why the things taught in most churches are not supported in the Bible at all.
I really like Tennis, I can handle basketball with friends (although I stink at it), I DO NOT LIKE football (so it's ironic that I'm pretty decent at it [sometimes]), I used to like soccer (but still, not the sport for me), I love swimming, and I always wanted to try fencing, table tennis, bowling, and skating (ice and roller). I have a feeling I would really like them, though.
For their job? Like to protect the livestock?
Yeah, I used to go shooting in the woods with my Grandpa all the time. I've never been to a shooting range before. But yeah, I know a few people that own guns.
That sounds like my uncle, lol. He LOVES weapons and military accessories with a passion. He even has steel handcuffs that he carries around.
Yeah, there are certain areas where all weapons are restricted, like school zones.
Yeah, anyone can buy spray cans here and cigarettes only have a warning at the bottom. Overall, the packages are very appealing and decorative to the eyes. It sounds like America's early 20th century over there in Australia regarding crime, laws, and allowance in the law.
Efforts over here are usually poor and miss their mark BIG TIME.
The more I hear, the more I think I'd love it, too!
And scary animals, as I mentioned earlier, don't bother me all too much. Georgia has Bears, Jellyfish, poisonous snakes, a wide variety of poisonous and/or painful bugs that are so annoying, and the occasional and very rare shark, scorpion, alligator (most of those are in Louisiana), and I've even heard of one or two mountain lions in North Georgia. I've always wanted to run across one, myself. Even if it was at a zoo.
Yes, I feel lucky that we've been free of crime and incident despite living here. It's very strange that we've never had a problem with those things personally, but I don't take it for granted and I expect it any day, just in case. Not out of fear, mind you, but just to be ready and prepared.
I'm just really glad that you don't have to worry about that so much, though, honestly.
Well, it's a happy ending worth telling, if you ask me.
I understand that. I might not ever get to cosplaying, despite the fact that I'd like to. Life has a funny way of changing our wants and plans sometimes, though, right?
Well, I could at least try! It can't be that hard!

The schooling system is different there...what grades does middle school cover? and high school?
Its really not great seeing people actually doing that sort of stuff to themselves...
haha yeah I was actually have a discussion with someone about that. She grew up in a family that was very strict when it came
to manners. We were talking about the different behaviours, if for example you were out at dinner with friends, you wouldn't eat the same way if you were just at home with family. It had a lot to do with learning about respect but can get overboard when you start learning things like "the language of cutlery"....
fair enough. I hear a lot of things about facebook. The only reason I would get it would be to stay in contact with friends, but they dont get on too often anyway. theres also the fact that I'm not aloud on
Cool! Are you just one of those people that dont feel the cold then? I dont know how people can manage walking around in shorts and a short top when its freezing outside!>.< Though I've always been kind of sensitive to the cold so it could just be meXD
It would be interesting to see a picture of you as your ID! I would never do that myself though...mainly cause I hate pictures-.-'
and how tall is tall though? I'm actually a shorty myself so most people seem tall to meXD
Im not usually exposed to that sort of language so I dont understand it...
ah that would be so annoying!>.<
ehehe yeah well I've never been to an exceptionally bad school so I guess that's why it's abit easier for me. I've managed to hang around the wrong sort of people from time to time unfortunately, but the worst I think I did was get a C in school. I've managed to get straight A's twice but out of pure luck!XD Honestly things are starting to get a bit more difficult for me, but I'm sure i can cope The type of teachers make all the difference though! I'm studying a subject I use to find interesting, but the teacher isnt too great so that kinda ruined it for me...I still look forward to the holidays and weekends but tend to die of boredom if I have nothing to do....
yeah! not to be negative but I get the feeling that at least half if not more of those people will end up getting completely different jobs anyway.
oh okay, I'm just a scaredy cat myselfXD
oh okay that's good. cool!^-^
bowling? as in ten pin bowling? I think ive tried all of those at some point in my life. except for fencing, which would be pretty cool! I'm terrible at ice skating though!>.< I always slip and spend most of my time slowly edging my way around the outside of the ringXD Roller skating...I did that once years ago but was just as bad with them I don't like swimming at all but I think that's cause I'm REALLY bad at it. Yeah that's what I meant. I've never even held a real gun actually Are you any good at shooting?
haha yup that sounds like my friend in a few years timeXD
which would make sense.
oh...there are some people that take the advertisements on cigarette packets like a joke though and will go up to the counter and ask for lung cancer or something. I'm not sure if the campaign is actually working...your always hearing adds on tv for quiting smoking and stuff as well.
that doesnt sound good at all...I'm probably being too optamistic about the way I view things here. There are a lot of thing that happen in Australia, but I dont see much of it because of where I live. In the larger more populated areas there are obviously going to be a lot more in crime and such...
honestly despite what they say about all the dangerous aniamls, the worst i've come across was a red belly black snake while on a walk, or a couple of friends getting stung by a blue bottle...Ive seen foxes around, but they never come to close anyway. heard heaps about sharks, crocs, etc. and then there are the more common animals you see everywhere!..The Kangaroos and wallabies. Ive found a rabbit warren once as well which was pretty cool! seen a few turtles, wombats, emus...
have you ever been to a zoo?
expect the best but prepare for the worst?
It sure does!
...well good luck is all I can say then!
sorry about the really late reply as well....

Middle School is from grades 6-8
Usually, High School is 9-12, but there are a few differences in some school systems.
Agreed. It will most certainly, without a doubt, cause them a lot of problems in the future.
Yeah, I was raised and taught manners as well, so whenever the situation arises, I definitely know how you are supposed to eat, how to carry yourself, the proper procedures during a meal, etc., but I agree, there is a such thing as going way too far. Manners and modesty are one thing, but that sort of stuff gets, well, kinda stuffy. The key, as you said, really could be boiled down to respect.
Well, if you were to ask me, you aren't missing much by not having a FB.
Don't feel cold? Unless it's a medical condition, I think that nearly everyone feels cold. They can pretend not to. I feel it, it just doesn't bother me as badly as others. The main times that I'm cold is when I first wake up, or when I'm really sleepy.
I've mainly been waiting for the right weather and opportunity. It's been raining on most of the days we aren't busy.
Let's see, I'm not sure what standards of measurement you use, but I'm about 6' 4" (about 194 cm.) tall. And where I live, 6 feet and up is the general standard for tall and taller.
When I went to school, I didn't usually hang out with anyone there. Most of my friends didn't even go to public school when I met them, so fortunately I haven't had that much bad association before, but I definitely understand from what little bit couldn't be avoided here and there. Oh, teachers definitely make a big difference. And a lasting impression. They've made my favorite subjects boring and my most difficult subjects fun and interesting.
Well, you can't exactly say that you haven't got any hobbies for the holidays. Might you need some variety, then? Boredom really can be a constant struggle for motivation.
It's not negative at all! It's kinda funny, actually.
"I went to collage for a few years."
"Really? What for?"
"Business and Transactions. More specifically, Business and Transactions through verbal communication."
"Like a company spokesperson or official representative? Awesome! So what line of work did that get you into?"
"Agriculture"
O.o (Because that's really how it goes)
Well, I might be a bit brash and bold compared to others. The Bible actually says good things about meek mild ones. It even mentions in Proverbs "Shrewd is the one that has seen calamity and proceeded to conceal him/herself." So, in a sense, the humility of those who are a bit timid far outweigh their fears, just so long as they have the tiny bit of courage needed to stand up for the important things when the time comes.
Skating will probably end up about the same for me, lol.
I come from a family that teaches swimming, and trust me, ANYONE can learn a style of swimming that suites them. It depends on the amount of time and motivation you have to want to learn. I probably could swim competitively, but I don't. I mostly like to just go and relax at the pool. That's mostly what I mean by "swimming". As a matter of fact, very few of my friends can swim that well. They usually just stand in the shallower ends and we talk while I just kinda swim around.
Well, over ten years ago I was a really good shot for my age, lol. I tried again recently and I wasn't too bad, but I've never really been able to stick with it. I'm more interested in swords, bows and arrows, etc. than I am guns and the like.
Oh yeah, there's crime in every place of the world where people can be found, it just sounds like you've grown up in one of the few havens less polluted with such things.
A blue bottle. Is that I kind of snake as well? Wow, I've never seen a kangaroo, a wallaby, a wombat, or an emu, lol. I suppose I must not get out too often.
A zoo? No, but I've really wanted to go to one at some point or another.
Exactly! It means to be optimistic to the brim, but not to allow bad things or sudden shocks to catch you off guard. I just try to keep that unshakeable positive attitude no matter what.
Well, if it ever happens, I thank you, because I will need it!
And too, I hope not to wait quite this long to respond to your further messages. I just can't make any promises, unfortunately.

right, to after high school you have University?
i was taught the basic table manners and all that, but I never go out for fancy
dinners anyway. so if i was put in a situation where i needed to be on my best
behaviour, and what not, I would probably panic a little:S
that's what a lot of my friends say too, but then you talk to my relatives about
it and they just look at me as though " you poor, poor child"XD
well, i meant one of those people who really arent that sensitive to the cold.
so yeah I'll take it you are one of those peopleXD
I just freeze, all the timeXD
haha oh wow! I'm tiny compared to youXD
I would die of boredom if i had no one to talk to>.< especially if the only social network i go on is DA...which i dont even come on as often anymore...
i would probably chill on my DS a lot more often then..
They do! though there are some things you can do as a student to help make the class at least a little more bearable if you have a bad teacher.
yeah planning out at least one new thing a week, really helps. As well as a project or goal to have in a certain space of time.
haha yeah so trueXD
oh, okay there you go. The bible tends to have a lot on those of lower status or who are 'seen' as of a lower stature. But are more highly thought of.
so people who are disable in some sense, the poor and like you said the meek, mild ones. umm...for the rich it is like fitting a camel through a pin hole?
...to get into heaven..something like that?>.< I dunno:S
then theres the story about the good Samaritan, who helped the man. he was an unlikely helper for the man who was robed and left for dead, but it tends to be the 'unlikely', that are spoken more highly of...i'm going to stop now I have no idea what I'm going on about>.<
It can be pretty fun though! You should definitely try it at some stage!
yeah I would be one of the people to stay in the shallower ends...if i go in a bit deeper, I'll tread water for a little while then get tired and either go back to the shallower end or just lie on my back and float so do you not do it competitively because you prefer to just swim at your own pace, and not against others?
cool! I'm more interested in that stuff as well...well mainly bows and arrows...but swords would be cool too!
no a blue bottle is a jelly fish actually. they tend to wash up on shore lines from time to time...
haha well, you should get out moreXD
You should go one day! There are so many cool animals! Sometimes you feel kinda sorry for them though:S
and that is a really good way to be!
dont worry about it^-^

Yeah, college would come after high school, although it's optional. Despite being optional, though, A LOT of educators make it sound like the only 'path to salvation'.
I think you would be good at fancy stuff anyway. A natural polite disposition like yourself would be instantly considered a potential fancy person.
Lol, my family/friends just think I'm all around strange and unique anyway, so it doesn't really surprise them that I have no interest in FB.
Yeah, although I think it's a bit of a mind-over-matter deal. I am cold when I'm sleepy, tired, or not feeling well. It's like a mental defense keeping my body from realizing it's cold.
Lol, yeah.
Yeah, I couldn't stand not being able to talk to people. I mean, I might be able to adapt if I had to, but it would be an at first depressing change.
Is a DS the only game system you own? And do you actually play games on it or do you watch stuff on it?
Draw. In. Class. That's my main answer. >u<
Definitely. Although recently, my mind frame has been drastically different in a positive manner. Motivation to draw and stay patient with it has abundant. I haven't had to set aside an idea for a drawing. It has just come. I know that what goes up must come down, but I hope that this motivation takes its time before going away!
Definitely true. It points to the example of an honest and eager child, one who thinks nothing of even trying to be great. Only the desire to learn and help.
Yes. It is not impossible for someone rich to enter the kingdom of god, whether through the earthly hope or the heavenly hope. It is just extremely difficult, especially if they are materialistic. You don't have to be rich to be materialistic, and being rich does not necessarily mean that you have a bad/greedy attitude about your possessions.
You had the quote right about the camel through the eye of a needle.
Yeah, the man that was injured was a despised enemy of the Samaritans. Yet, despite this the good Samaritan helped him out. The 'unlikely' sort to save him. You got that one, too.
You know, it's interesting. Recently, Jehovah's Witnesses came out with, not just a new publication, but we received for the second time in the past half-century, a revised addition of the Bible. To explain what 'revised' means, nothing of the Bible's message was changed or removed, nor was anything added. Rather, they simplified it. For example, rather than saying 'and then he, being a man of the hither and the thither, as they had all come to despise, he went and round about up on his own kind, as it was in thine own time of many significant grandeur' , which is so difficult to understand that you get nothing out of it, it would read something more like this: 'and then he, being an indecisive and undependable man, the kind of man that had become disliked by many, went and gathered his friends like him, and it was in your time of many great things'. It's extremely easy to understand and the readability makes it much easier to preach and study. And the cool thing, the front of the book includes a small Bible study aid publication add-on. And the back includes a color-illustrated index including forms of measurement of Bible times and other commonly known things we have no knowledge of today, like what the priests dressed up in as well as what the 'tabernacle's and such looked like. The new revise Bible is this really neat silver color all over with a new 'near indestructible cover'.
I definitely will if the chance arises!
Well, mostly. I think swimming would be boring if it was only racing. Although I do like to race every now and then.
Yeah, although I've started leaning more towards samurai swords more than mid-evil ones, watching/reading so much anime and manga.
But bows and arrows are a must!
Gotcha.
I want to, but getting out requires munniez! Even driving somewhere for free entertainment requires gas munniez! I need moar munniez to "get out" more, lol!
Animals being put in solitary confinement is definitely a sad thing. Hmmm. Makes me wonder how much I would enjoy the zoo. I guess it depends. Different zoos must treat the animals differently.
Thanks. I think so.

oh okay! Yeah a lot more people are getting degrees and whatever else through...college... that because of that itll make it less valuable and sought after. And Im not sure what thats going to lead to...do people stay in schools longer to get more degrees and qualifications for things? or will they just consider experience to be worth more than a piece of paper you acquired after years of study....
haha I would like to think soXD But when push comes to shove i would not know what to doXD
haha thats greatXD All my friends and I are a bit strange, so that probably explains us...I dont normally see my extended family, so i guess they dont fully understand how weird i am just yetXD
huh there you go...thats pretty cool actuallyXDΒ
Im just a shorty too though Im probably 5"5' maybe 5"6'XD Id like to think ill keep growing but I doubt itXD unless its sideways and not upXDXDΒ
yeah, though meeting new people is always exciting for me tooXD I always get so happy and excited after Ive talked to someone I normally wouldntXD Even I dont end up talking to them again after thatXD I would be able to get use to not talking to others if i had to though. Already been through that. Its annoying at first I guess, but at the time I preferred it over talking to the "friends" I had at that time.Β
No I have a wii, ps3 and i play stuff on my ipod from time to time. Its just easier for me to play on Β my DS cause with two brothers and a dad that love to show off their gaming skills its hard to get onto the Wii or ps2 for long enough to get something doneXD I dont watch videos on my DS though...I mainly play Animal crossing or Sola to Robo on my Ds and just bejewelled on my ipodXD If i get a chance to play on the other consoles i like to play prince of persia and maybe a bit of zelda on the wii. Our ps2 is kinda dying...Β
haha yes!XD I always do that if im about to fall asleep in classXDXD so it mostly happened in mathsXD
Oh thats awesome!! and it depends where you start...sometimes you're more likely to just keep going up
oh wow i got the quote right?XD But yes i know what you mean. I like the views the bible can bring...Are there much about women in the bible? I mean there are other books and things written about Mary and Elizabeth, but what about the other women? Tamar, Rahab, Ruth and Bathsheba...are there other women with names mentioned? and do you know much about these women?
ooh sounds fancy with its silver cover and allXD What's "tabernacle"? I would have no clue what the bible was saying if they didnt have revised versions>_< In the bible that i have it has little notes at the bottom that convert the measurements they use in the text to ones im more likely to understand as well as names of other items or things i wouldnt know about...But i dont really go through it that much...I go to church on sundays and listen, but its only been recently that I really started paying closer attention and all that... like when i was little I went to catholic church, then we stopped and didnt go for years. only about four years ago we started going again, but this time to a uniting church. for the first couple of years I went cause i was told and fazed out a lot during it, but for some reason something changed one day and i became more interested and started listening more. then we moved again and i started new at a different uniting church. I also asked for my first bible for my birthday around then as well. which surprised a lot of people in my familyXD But the church gave me a study bible earlier this year that i still havent really looked at yet...but it seems to have everything....recently someone was telling me that they knew someone who had made a whole timeline of everything in the bible that was ridiculously long...
thats pretty cool! do you know different names for blades and stuff? didnt samurai's carry around two? one for fighting another for seppuku or however you spell it...i dunno...my sister was telling me about stuff like that before at some stage...
haha yeah i guess that is trueXD mmm....there are some open plain zoos arent there? where you get driven around and you spot the animals from the cart rather then behind glass walls...i havent been to one, but i thought i had about something like that...but going back to the munniez issue, it would cost a bit just to get in to a zoo like that...

I imagine that the first would be the case for a while, but then enough would be enough, enacting the later. Doesn't matter either way though. According to the Bible, not enough time will pass before that sort of thing with have time to act itself out.
So many youths nowadays are embracing the idea of being their own unique person that strange is slowly becoming normal. It's even becoming super cool. And I'm just like 'Wow, I liked it before it was cool!' I mean, what does the word 'normal' or 'average' even mean nowadays? Uniform is dropping in popularity as well as usage. Everyone wants to feel, not just special by being in a group, but they want to feel special by being different. I know that's not the case in some places, like Russia, China, North Korea, etc., but I've definitely seen it online and in my area. If you're different, you've got your own style, and you don't care if you occasionally are made fun of for it, people envy you for being so happy. And that envy gets anger, but it also earns you much more respect and popularity with those who have a more mature outlook on life. Those are the people you want to be around anyway.
Well, that's ok. That's really not that bad. That's about as tall as my friend , who's married to someone that fits all categories in 'Tall, Dark, and Handsome' and he's one of the sweetest, most gentle and polite people you'll ever meet. Most of the guys that are worth being with don't really consider height that important, anyway. As long as there's the at least slight initial attraction, it's all about what's on the inside. Well, as long as you aren't like under 4 feet tall. And then, I'm not sure how many guys would care. It's not usually a conversational/situational thing I've come across!
I know exactly what you mean there. My artist friend who *sighs* still wishes to remain unnamed on the internet (for logically good but rather specifically baseless reasons of course{it's a VERY common name that would be untrackable if I didn't give his last name, like John, Smith, Sally, Joe and Sam would be[he's paranoid]}) is actually the first REAL friend I ever had, so other than my family, the first 9 years of my childhood were virtually unsocial. It was a rough time all around. I had a few of those 'friends' you mentioned that I'd find disowning me and saying very nasty and untrue things about me behind my back. Fortunately, I had really good family and some very entertaining hobbies that kept me afloat through it all. And I'm definitely a much better person than I would have been otherwise, or at least I would like to think so. The most important thing is now and what I do with today, though. I just can sympathize with that very much.
Ah, ok. I'm the main gamer in our house, so I suppose I'm very spoiled with that. I've played Prince of Persia and I liked it a lot, but I've never owned it. And I absolutely love all of the Nintendo Zelda games. Well, almost. I don't like Zelda 2 very much. I've heard a lot about Animal Crossing, especially since the villager is one of the new characters in the new Super Smash Bros. game for the WiiU. I'm keeping up with the news posts for it, even though I don't have a WiiU quite yet.
Sola to Robo is new to me though. And... your PS2 is....dying? I'm so sorry. The PS2 was all I ever played before we got really into our Wii games. (Well, except for PC games. I had a lot of those) Even though we've had it for well over around 13 years, and we've used it on a very regular basis for thousands upon thousands of hours on video games, family movie nights, DVDs of all sorts, EVERYTHING! for that whole time, it stills works like brand new. It's even been to North Carolina and Mississippi when we went on long trips to see family. I don't know how well we've taken care of it, but it has had only a few, but still next to no problems at all, over that time span. And those problems fixed themselves and went away on their own after about a month or so. It was strange. Our PS2 is like a part of the whole family's past, lol. And I still don't see it giving out on us any time soon.
Yeah, Math and History especially.
Women? Oh, yes, definitely. The Bible actually says about our spiritual sisters that the angels can look at their example in admiration and imitation. And there are more than plenty women mentioned in the Bible. And not just in the parts that go something like 'Katurah, the daughter of Seth, the son of Adam', etc. There are quite a few stories involving our sisters in the Bible, like a few that involve Sarah and Abraham, back when they were known as Sarai and Abram. There were also some similar and equally good stories about their children Isaac and Rebekah. It's almost scary how Isaac got himself and Rebekah into the exact same situation Abraham and Sarah were in at one point. Mom's favorite story about a woman in the Bible was Ruth's account in its entirety. That is a really long story, though. Naomi and her sister, who's name evades me, were also a part of the story. Another really long story would be Esther's. One of Davids wives, Abigail, had a really awesome story, too. Without showing a lack of submission or respect in her motives, she averted an all-out war that David nearly started. It had something to do with taking a census, and he had been directed not to by Jehovah God. Abigail went behind her husband with Jehovah's blessing and made peace with the ones who David angered. Her example is well spoken of in the Bible, keeping her respect towards her husband, but at the same time making sure that God's will was done in discretion. Hannah is another great example, and although I know little details about her, I need to read about her situation a bit more. She was very earnest in her requests to God, and she showed great faith, loyalty, and action in the responses she received. She even gave her firstborn as a full-time, life-long servant of God, which he gladly fulfilled for her, of course. And there's also, as you mentioned Mary, who was a great example all around. There's Martha, who showed attentive priority to spiritual things. Prescilla, Aquilla's wife. They were so close that the Bible never mentions their names apart. It's always 'Prescilla and Aquilla' or Aquilla and Prescilla'. And they as a couple dealt with things in a very appropriate and imitation-worthy manner. They also showed hospitality with taking the apostle Paul under their wing. And there are so many other examples, some of which I know of, but not all of them am I super familiar with. We have this newer book called 'Imitate Their Faith' that has quite a few chapters all about these examples and then some. It's really neat, and I've really enjoyed what parts I've gotten to read thus far. As a matter of fact, talking about this makes me wanna finish it up soon.
Yeah, it's really neat. I know you said that you've got something like it, but if you're ever interested, I could get you one.
Yes, those strange measurements and names and places. Oh, a tabernacle was a holy place of worship at the time. Kinda like how you would think of a church, but on a MUCH grander scale, not in size, but in reverence. I wouldn't have known were it not for that section about it.
That's pretty cool. Most adults, church or not, still aren't interested in actually learning about the Bible. So that's quite commendable. We offer free personal home Bible studies as our main hopes when we go door to door, but we also encourage Bible reading tremendously. We even have a website where you can get all sorts of Bible information. It also gives updates on our organization that we all try to keep up with, but Bible information is the primary goal. (www.jw.org/en) It's really cool, and it's being updated regularly every day.
They were surprised? Why? Did it just seem all around strange to them?
Yeah, I've seen some interesting charts and timelines, not of the whole Bible, but parts of it.
Well, I know a few, but some of them I'm a bit unclear on. The main blade, I've heard a few names for it, but I'm not crystal on it. It's for most main-stream fighting. Now, some of them had three. If so, the second longest is called the wakizashi, for either finishing your opponent off with your free hand, keeping your main sword clean, or for swifter attacks in a closed space, like fighting in a small building. And yes, the third, of which I've never heard named, was for committing suicide if either their lord and master ordered it (which is messed up) or if they disobeyed their master, betrayed someone, basically they would kill themselves with it if their honor was ever forfeit. (still kinda messed up, but it displayed great loyalty just carrying it around for that kind of purpose)
That'd be pretty cool. I know that they must have something like that, and in some places like Africa, they don't even have borders. It's more like a wild life tour.

Apart from the overall cuteness that the image brings, I would like to go a little technical when talking about this ^_^
First off, this is a very complicated piece and hence the only way you can do justice to it is by shading it right. Very well done, in that area xD The only part that i would like to point toward in terms of shading is that you could have used a darker pen (not a pencil) to draw out the lines. that way the shading will be more prominent. But thats just my opinion.
Secondly, its time to go a little deep. xD
Anatomy.
Seriously, Kylan. ^_^
You were, in my opinion, TRYING to fit the drawing within the page, so the legs in general have come off shorter than tehy actually are! hehe, thats what i ALWAYS used to do not too long ago. ^_^ And the ONLY way to overcome this is by drawing the guides right.
take a huge paper. LOL xD if you can find a huge paper, then draw the guides such that you can erase and re-erase until the proportions come off right. The canvas should hold the drawing, not vice-versa if you got me ^_^
Third, something about ACTION LINES.
Look the term up, and you will know what I am talking about.
If you look at the original, you see that there is an invisible STRAIGHT line running from her head to between the toes... This is the CENTER OF GRAVITY of the model and should be always vertical. Physics says so, and we artists humbly accept it xD
Your rendering, however, has come off slightly at an angle. and its not THAT slant. but as I want to give you as crisp a critique as possible, I wanted to point that out,
Sorry for the indepth analsyis... But that was the way I learnt, and you have so much potential, i couldnt resist!
Next time, make it a 4-star! xDDD

Wow, you know, over the last week that I haven't been able to respond, I kept reading this over, taking a look at the drawing, and I gotta say, most of what you said, I probably wouldn't have considered. Now, I know I did have a lot of trouble fitting the legs near the end, but it quickly was forgotten in the drawing process, unfortunately.
And I'm glad you like the shading. I've been told quite often that shading is my strong point.
I looked up action lines like you said, and I found several wonderful tricks in online tutorials and guides. I know exactly what I would've done differently and how I would have done it, and I learned quite a bit that I'm going to use in future drawings. It has given me a bit more confidence in drawing scenes of action and motion, which I will need to test soon.
I appreciate the honest and thoughtful critique very much, you have no idea. And I will keep these points in mind. I think they're the perfect advice to put my drawings a level higher.
These are some of the kinds of comments that I really look forward to on my work. Thank you.
Three stars? That's a great score in my opinion.
I'll be workin' for a four some time soon, I suppose.
There's one series I'll be working on soon that'll be perfect for the practice. (soon being any time in the next year or so)
