Beautiful shot!

Quick question: Do you know a good place to get scoops and spoilers? I'm planning on getting a chin spoiler and hood scoop for my Grande but I need to know where to get one without it being over-priced, especially if the guy helping to fix it can't get the parts. I was also thinking about getting a rear spoiler if its not overwhelming. I want to keep my car original, but I also want to have my personality written all over it and scoops/spoilers definitely bring that out

There are many Mustang places you could try, locally I use "The Mustang Shop," however they are a Canadian shop and it wouldn't be reasonable to ship from them.

Here are a few places to look;
www.mustangsunlimited.com/
www.ebay.com
Haven't heard of these guys, but could try www.cjponyparts.com/
www.cal-mustang.com/
www.mustangdepot.com/ <- My shop has used them before

Thank you! We've gotten a few parts from Mustang Unlimited...they sent us the wrong antenna   I've also seen my dad looking at CJ and Cal online, but I have never heard of Mustang depot. I'll be sure to check them out! My father is always looking for parts whenever he's not working so I have no idea if he's been to their website yet.

We've also been trying to find the right shade of blue for my console...so far medium blue is the closest we've gotten. The guy at the store we bought if from said we can also use the plastic/vynal (i think I spelt that right...) to re-paint the carpet since its faded so much, but it needs replaced because there are rips and fuzz just gets everywhere when you try to vacuum it.

So much work...but that's the fun of it! I can't wait for the result

If it was sapposed to be in honor of the P51-Mustang, the airplane fighter of WWII, the why did`nt the put a siloet of the planes as a logo, not a horse?

The galloping horse is the icon of the Mustang, therefor they put it on all of them. I myself have a '69 (Grande) and it would just look weird with a plane symbol on it instead of the horse, not to mention it goes against the very name of the car itself and decrease the value. Recently this year model has increased in demand, so keeping them as original as possible increases the price value (not that I'm ever selling mine...you'd have to kill me for it ) and it they sell pretty fast if someone is willing to pay for whatever price it is being sold for.

Back then you could get them from $2635 to $3139 depending on the TYPE you got. Hardtop with a 6 cylinder was the cheapest and the Mach 1 (V8 only) was the most expensive (with my grande being right before it at $2971). This was without all the options. If you wanted a tilt-away wheel, powered steering, and electric clock like mine you had to pay extra for it, which meant special ordering straight from the factory, only the people with a lot of money could afford it therefor those cars today are even more expensive. I've done some research and these fellas can go up to $500,000 if they are in top condition and a certain type.

Changing even the smallest things like the symbol would decrease the value as a whole...it would be considered a fake and worth a whole lot less than original, restored, and possibly even a replica (I honestly don't like replicas very much because they aren't the real deal). Changing the logo as a plane would be worthless because the overall result is a huge drop in the value of the car itself.

I got the price information here: www.1969stang.com/pricelist.ht…

Seriously, this is one of the best Mustang pics I have ever seen. There is no blur at all, whatever camera you use it must be brilliant piece of machinery, and it works well within your hands.

Thanks so much man! I use a Canon Rebel T3i and was using my f1.8 50mm lens for this shot!

Nice ,  I passed up on a 70 Mach 1 because the seller wanted 1500 for it     back in 1980.   I could have got 4 Ist gen Mustangs for that back then.
