The drawing here is one I've had in mind for a while, and one where I've held onto the psd file for a while.

As you can see, Cassidy is faced with two sinister threats, but someone is standing between her and the threats and is fiercely determined to keep Cassidy safe: Master Viper from the Jade Palace. Known for her mastery of the viper kung fu, Viper is a strong fighter and won't go down easy.

The relationship between Cassidy and Viper is actually something I've thought of since I did the "Kung Fu Panda" adventures back in 2014. Cassidy has a very bad phobia of snakes as a result of being attacked by one during her training days. This fear came back to haunt her on some occasions, especially when encountering Kaa, but when she met Viper, she became conflicted because of her snake phobia, but also because Viper was very welcoming and sweet, plus she's great friends with Kyle, having helped train him when he was learning kung fu. She didn't want to offend the kung fu master and get on her bad side, but based on how Viper protected her throughout the "Kung Fu Panda 2" adventure, and how she's protecting her in the drawing, it seems that's never going to happen. I actually think she would instead console Cassidy about her snake phobia and as time goes on during the squad's stay, they would form a mother/daughter-like relationship. That would definitely make Cassidy feel better. After all, not all snakes are villainous characters.
