Ultra Fractal + Photoshop for the frame.Today, I had asked my grandmother how to say "luck" or "fortune" in Japanese, as she is fluent and uses English and Japanese interchangeably (and I have trouble keeping up, as I am still learning, haha).
She told me it was kouun. Thus, with me knowing that motarasu meant "to bring/ to bring about", I was able to put together kouun wo motarasu, meaning something along the lines of "bringing good luck".
I don't know Kanji, so....yeah, Hiragana for you.
こううん を もたらす。

Argh. I just learned today that I misheard my grandmother when she spoke-- it's actually supposed to be 'こうん'.
That's okay. I'm just going to leave it as being a mistake that I have now learned.

The use of Japanese is very appropriate for this, at least, to me, as this reminds me of the neon lights featured in photography I stumbled on of downtown Shanghai while looking for references for artwork, at some point. Love it.
