Description She believed and held on,
To everything that was once promised.

Everything that would be,
Fading away...

Her Heart lingered upon
The Promises that were shattered, forlorn.

It did not matter if the unsealing wounds remained,
In her Dream, there was... hope.

In choking darkness she waited,
Dawning the crumbling illusion of light.

The reflection of her beauty unfading,
Her requiem, her memories, haunting.

Well, this is a new request. I have no problem with it as long as you don't take credit for the poem, and if you show me the completed artwork. If you post it online, please link back to the "Once Promised" poem.

im doing a huge painting of a girl alone in a tower and the backround is going to be murky and depressing but it will make the girl look more aluring she'll be in a big flowly white wedding dress like the kind they wear in the 1800s but with a modern twist i am going to put your brillaint peom to the side of it in fadded cryptic writing.
